This was a presentation I gave to the local social entrepreneurship community. The topic is how to create successful (social) businesses. My answer is - Design Thinking. This is a methodology that looks at what people want [DESIRABILITY], what makes sense from a business point of view [VIABILITY] and takes into account what is possible from a technological point of view [feasibility]. A main point in my presentation was that social entrepreneurship should not be an alternative i.e. a reaction to the classical way of doing business. There is only one way of doing business and every business should do good to the ecosystem in which it exists i.e. business and social good should go together.
