Dear Dr. Kashif Sahib! Holy Qur'an has never put any ban on Qurbani
(sacrifices). I am afraid you could not understand the two verbs employed
in verses 1 and 2 in Surah Al-Mai'da and those are: احلت and تحلوا ال which
negate your contention. This Surah was revealed unto Muhammad PBUH
in the year 6-7 after Hijrah. The Prophet PBUH performed Hajj after that

Dear Professor Akram Chaudhary I appreciate your comments in which you have
mentioned that تحلو ال is a verb which negates my contention. Unfortunately this is
the mistake that was committed in our translations by our scholars. تحلو ال is not a
verb but only تحلو which is a 5th form of Arabic verbs that applies on all further
sub clauses or further sentences because firstly there is no other verb coming in
this verse 5:2 to represent the sub clauses starting in conjunction with “”و -
secondly , the 5th form of the verb applies on more than one subjects. So up until
the second verb َونُغَتْبَي the first verb تحلو will be applied on all the sub clauses and
تحلو means permitted/allowed/lawful. The negate ال i.e. ‘not’ cannot be counted as a
verb in any language including Arabic. Also ال is coming with all sub clauses in the
extension of the verb تحلو which means all clauses will be treated as negative in the
combination of ال of these clauses and the principal verb تحلو will make
unlawful/not permitted/not allowed to the contents of all sub clauses . This is not
the case that I am vegetarian but in fact you are mixing the meat of Qurbani and
everyday Zabiiha meat, the provision of which has been mentioned in the same
verse 5:1 in which qurbani was banned "مُكْيَلَع ىَلْتُي اَم َّالِإ" except what is told further.
In the further verses 4 and 5 of the same surah Almaida the everyday zabiha meat
has been made Halal. I am sorry to say, if you use the verb احلت for IHRAM )(احرام
following our scholars translations, which could be in your traditional belief but I
could not see the word of IHRAM )(احرامin both the verses 5:1 and 5:2. So, we
must stick on the words of the Quran without mixing our traditional pagan belief.

Quran describe the importance of animal sacrifice (verses 34;22 and
6;162 and 22;37, etc) please do not give wrong interpretation, just
knowledge is not enough, wisdom also required for true interpretation of
the Quran.

Dear Brother Muhammad Nasir Hameed Sahib. Many thanks for your
comments but unfortunately Animal Sacrifice is not mentioned in the verse
12. 34:22 that you have referred. However, you might have wanted to quote the
verse 22:34, in which again there is no word of sacrifice existed but our
translators / scholars wrongly interpreted the word اًكَنسَم that is derived
from كَنسَم means hermitage, angle , retreat which Allah has designated to
protect the animals, and also the words of this verse ِامَعأَنأاْل ِةَيمََِب نِّ
ِم مُهَقَزَر اَم negate
and put a question mark on eating from the meat of brutally killed animals ,
especially in the presence of negate “اَ.”مPlease see the actual words of the
verse 6:162 َيَِملاَأعلا ِِّبَر ِِِّلِل ِاِتَََمَو َايَيأََمَو يِكُسُنَو ِِتَالَص َّنِإ ألُق in which you will find the same
word يِكُسُنَو derived from ًكَنس like we saw اًكَنسَم in the verse 22:34.So meaning
of يِكُسُن will be the same as “my point of viewاگنہزاو ہریما ) my hermitage, angle ,
retreat etc. The verse 22:37 is self-explanatory: اَهُؤاَمِد ََلَو اَهُومُُُل ََّالِل َالَنَي َنل in which
Allah has clearly told us that “It is not their meat nor their blood that reaches
Allah”. So again Allah is discouraging us for sacrificing animals.
It is entirely up to you whatever you believe but I must tell you that our
scholars have inserted their own words in the interpretations of the Quran
and it was better if you would have read the full explanation available in
Urdu pdf before raising any objection. Furthermore, the current translation
of the Quran is totally wrong which is leading us astray.
