CORRECT UNDERSTANDING OF THE VERSE 2:149. THE ARABIC WORD
“ََ‫ْر‬‫ط‬َ‫ش‬” (SHATAR) HAS BEEN WRONGLY TRANSLATED THROUGHOUT THE
QURAN TO PROTECT THE UNLAWFUL PAGAN SHRINE.
QUESTION:
Hello brother,
I only follow the Quran alone. But in the quran God tells to face Masjid ul haram
when doing Salah. So if Kaaba is not Masjid ul Haram. Where is it then?
And from wherever you set off, you shall turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram.
This is the truth from your Lord and indeed God is not unaware of what you do." 2:149
ANSWER:
Salaam Brother Mostafa,
I hope you're well and many thanks for your email. I am glad to know that
you are among those blessed people who follow the Quran alone.
However, following the Quran alone means to follow the words of Allah
revealed in the Arabic text of the Quran and not following the wrong
translations. We always think that the interpretation of the Quran given by
the Quranist scholars is 100% correct because they claim that they teach
pure Quran without mixing any false tradition and pagan beliefs but in
reality their translation is more distorted and deviated from the actual
message of the Quran revealed in the Arabic text of the Quran.
Science has proved wrong all translations of the verse 2:149 in which it is
asserted that “from wherever you set off, you shall turn your face towards the
Masjid Al-Haram (Kaaba)”. We all know that the Earth is not flat therefore in
South America, to pray facing Masjid Al-Haram (Kaaba) you will have to stand
on your hands or head.
This is the reason why other religions say that the Quran is not the word of God
because God can’t say anything that does not exist nor can God say anything
wrong or illogical. In fact the Quran is a true book of God and no one can find
any contradiction in the Arabic text of the Quran. However, our scholars have
made the Quran doubtful by their fabricated translations. This is because the
actual translation of the Quran does not fit in our pagan beliefs and false dogma
of our schools of thought.
If you don’t listen to anybody and just question yourself, “how will those face
towards Kaaba who live in South America?”
You can judge for yourself what is right and what is wrong. If you believe that the
current translation of this verse 2:149 is right then, in other words you are
blaming God and the Quran that the words of the Quran do not match with reality
because the reality is that there are many places in the world from where we
can’t face towards the Kaaba or Masjid Al Haraam.
If you honestly accept that the translations of this verse 2:49 is wrong then for
your own benefit you must revert to the True Islam that was brought by the Quran
and take the word of God “Haraam” to mean “forbidden” or “unlawful” wherever it
has been revealed in the Quran. When Persian and Pagan nexus changed the
meanings of the words of the Quran they took Arabic word “‫”حرام‬ as a Persian
word “‫”رحام‬ that makes Persian word “‫”حرمت‬ which means “sacred, respect and
grand”. However, the Arabic word “‫”حرام‬ is not sacred but “forbidden” and
“unlawful”. The polytheist Persians and Arab Pagans wanted to protect their
pagan shrine Kaaba by declaring it a sacred mosque as well as protecting and
carrying on their polytheist pagan rituals by declaring them sacred rituals of God.
Furthermore, if “‫”حرام‬ is taken to mean sacred or respected then the same word
“ََْ‫ت‬َ‫م‬ِّ‫ر‬ُ‫”ح‬ has been used in the verse 5:3 of the Quran in which the dead, the blood
and meat of pig have been made “‫”حرام‬ unlawful and forbidden.
The translation of the word “‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬” (Shatar) is also wrong which I have
already explained in my article "Wudu" part 1 and translated the verses
similar to the verse 2:149.
Unfortunately, all traditional and the Quranist scholars have changed the
meaning of the words of the Quran to translate Allah's message according
to their misleading beliefs and non-Quranic dogma.
Have you ever realised the dishonesty of the translators of the Quran who
have been using the fabricated and misleading meaning of the word “‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬”
in the translation of the Quran. The meaning of this word “‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬” used in the
translation of the Quran are not used in general Arabic language?
We must realise that the Quran was revealed for common people in
common Arabic language which was understood by everyone. Allah also
claims in the Quran that the Quran was made in simple, straight forward
and in the same Arabic language which is understood by people so that
they understand and follow Allah’s guidance without making any excuse
that they could not understand the Quran due to its language that they did
not understand.
If this is the case then how is the meaning of the words of the Quran taken
different to what people have been using in their general Arabic
language?
The actual meaning of “ََ‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬”: are as follows:
breaking; bursting; cleavage; cleaving; fission; fissuring; rifting; ripping; be
shrewd; be sly, break off from; dissociate oneself from; secede from;
separate from; withdraw from.
‫يف‬ ِ‫ص‬ْ‫ن‬َ‫ت‬َ:َ‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬: bisecting; bisection; cutting ; dividing; division; halving ;
intersecting; intersection; severance; severing; split(ting) ; sundering
ََ‫ف‬َّ‫ص‬َ‫ن‬َ:َ َ‫ر‬َ‫ط‬َ‫ش‬: to separate something into two (equal) parts, arrange in or
divide into section, divide; break; make separate, crack, break, rend, cut;
sever; tear, half ; moiety.
However, the translators of the Quran have changed the actual meaning of
this word " ََ‫ط‬َ‫ش‬ََ‫ر‬ " to protect the pagan temple (Al Masjid Al Haraam) and all
other mosques in which people worship stones facing towards the pagan
shrine Kaaba.
In the attached article on wudu I have explained the correct translation of a
similar verses in which the same word "ََ‫ر‬َ‫ط‬َ‫ش‬ " has been used. You can
follow the analysis of these verses from the attached article on Wudu and
translate yourself the verse 2:149 correctly, in which it was clearly
mentioned that “indeed your first target is to withdraw from/to break/to
burst/to divide/to bisect/to crackdown /to cut the forbidden mosque
(al masjid al haraam) wherever you find an opportunity or have in
your occupation or have any control over it, and that is necessary for
the truth from your Lord, indeed God is not unconscious of what you
have been doing”
.
This is the correct translation of the verse 2:149. However, soon I will write on this topic
in more detail in which I will include the analysis of each single word of this verse 2:149
together with the other similar verses of the Quran.
Why do we need the Kaaba if the Quran has urged the Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh) and Allah gave him clear orders to demolish the
unlawful mosque and its seeds (other mosques following the same
direction)? To develop more understanding about the Qibla please see the
detailed analysis and the correct translation of the verse 2:177 in my
articles on Salaah.

“شَطْرَ” (SHATAR)

  • 1. CORRECT UNDERSTANDING OF THE VERSE 2:149. THE ARABIC WORD “ََ‫ْر‬‫ط‬َ‫ش‬” (SHATAR) HAS BEEN WRONGLY TRANSLATED THROUGHOUT THE QURAN TO PROTECT THE UNLAWFUL PAGAN SHRINE. QUESTION: Hello brother, I only follow the Quran alone. But in the quran God tells to face Masjid ul haram when doing Salah. So if Kaaba is not Masjid ul Haram. Where is it then? And from wherever you set off, you shall turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram. This is the truth from your Lord and indeed God is not unaware of what you do." 2:149 ANSWER: Salaam Brother Mostafa, I hope you're well and many thanks for your email. I am glad to know that you are among those blessed people who follow the Quran alone. However, following the Quran alone means to follow the words of Allah revealed in the Arabic text of the Quran and not following the wrong translations. We always think that the interpretation of the Quran given by the Quranist scholars is 100% correct because they claim that they teach pure Quran without mixing any false tradition and pagan beliefs but in reality their translation is more distorted and deviated from the actual message of the Quran revealed in the Arabic text of the Quran.
  • 2. Science has proved wrong all translations of the verse 2:149 in which it is asserted that “from wherever you set off, you shall turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram (Kaaba)”. We all know that the Earth is not flat therefore in South America, to pray facing Masjid Al-Haram (Kaaba) you will have to stand on your hands or head. This is the reason why other religions say that the Quran is not the word of God because God can’t say anything that does not exist nor can God say anything wrong or illogical. In fact the Quran is a true book of God and no one can find any contradiction in the Arabic text of the Quran. However, our scholars have made the Quran doubtful by their fabricated translations. This is because the actual translation of the Quran does not fit in our pagan beliefs and false dogma of our schools of thought. If you don’t listen to anybody and just question yourself, “how will those face towards Kaaba who live in South America?” You can judge for yourself what is right and what is wrong. If you believe that the current translation of this verse 2:149 is right then, in other words you are blaming God and the Quran that the words of the Quran do not match with reality because the reality is that there are many places in the world from where we can’t face towards the Kaaba or Masjid Al Haraam. If you honestly accept that the translations of this verse 2:49 is wrong then for your own benefit you must revert to the True Islam that was brought by the Quran
  • 3. and take the word of God “Haraam” to mean “forbidden” or “unlawful” wherever it has been revealed in the Quran. When Persian and Pagan nexus changed the meanings of the words of the Quran they took Arabic word “‫”حرام‬ as a Persian word “‫”رحام‬ that makes Persian word “‫”حرمت‬ which means “sacred, respect and grand”. However, the Arabic word “‫”حرام‬ is not sacred but “forbidden” and “unlawful”. The polytheist Persians and Arab Pagans wanted to protect their pagan shrine Kaaba by declaring it a sacred mosque as well as protecting and carrying on their polytheist pagan rituals by declaring them sacred rituals of God. Furthermore, if “‫”حرام‬ is taken to mean sacred or respected then the same word “ََْ‫ت‬َ‫م‬ِّ‫ر‬ُ‫”ح‬ has been used in the verse 5:3 of the Quran in which the dead, the blood and meat of pig have been made “‫”حرام‬ unlawful and forbidden. The translation of the word “‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬” (Shatar) is also wrong which I have already explained in my article "Wudu" part 1 and translated the verses similar to the verse 2:149. Unfortunately, all traditional and the Quranist scholars have changed the meaning of the words of the Quran to translate Allah's message according to their misleading beliefs and non-Quranic dogma. Have you ever realised the dishonesty of the translators of the Quran who have been using the fabricated and misleading meaning of the word “‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬” in the translation of the Quran. The meaning of this word “‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬” used in the translation of the Quran are not used in general Arabic language? We must realise that the Quran was revealed for common people in common Arabic language which was understood by everyone. Allah also claims in the Quran that the Quran was made in simple, straight forward and in the same Arabic language which is understood by people so that they understand and follow Allah’s guidance without making any excuse that they could not understand the Quran due to its language that they did not understand.
  • 4. If this is the case then how is the meaning of the words of the Quran taken different to what people have been using in their general Arabic language? The actual meaning of “ََ‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬”: are as follows: breaking; bursting; cleavage; cleaving; fission; fissuring; rifting; ripping; be shrewd; be sly, break off from; dissociate oneself from; secede from; separate from; withdraw from. ‫يف‬ ِ‫ص‬ْ‫ن‬َ‫ت‬َ:َ‫ر‬ْ‫َط‬‫ش‬: bisecting; bisection; cutting ; dividing; division; halving ; intersecting; intersection; severance; severing; split(ting) ; sundering ََ‫ف‬َّ‫ص‬َ‫ن‬َ:َ َ‫ر‬َ‫ط‬َ‫ش‬: to separate something into two (equal) parts, arrange in or divide into section, divide; break; make separate, crack, break, rend, cut; sever; tear, half ; moiety. However, the translators of the Quran have changed the actual meaning of this word " ََ‫ط‬َ‫ش‬ََ‫ر‬ " to protect the pagan temple (Al Masjid Al Haraam) and all other mosques in which people worship stones facing towards the pagan shrine Kaaba. In the attached article on wudu I have explained the correct translation of a similar verses in which the same word "ََ‫ر‬َ‫ط‬َ‫ش‬ " has been used. You can follow the analysis of these verses from the attached article on Wudu and translate yourself the verse 2:149 correctly, in which it was clearly mentioned that “indeed your first target is to withdraw from/to break/to burst/to divide/to bisect/to crackdown /to cut the forbidden mosque (al masjid al haraam) wherever you find an opportunity or have in your occupation or have any control over it, and that is necessary for the truth from your Lord, indeed God is not unconscious of what you have been doing” َ(941:2)َََ‫ام‬َ‫ر‬َْ‫ْل‬‫َا‬‫د‬‫ج‬ْ‫س‬َ‫ْم‬‫ل‬‫َا‬َ‫ْر‬‫ط‬َ‫ش‬َ َ‫ك‬َ‫ه‬ْ‫ج‬َ‫َو‬ِّ‫ل‬َ‫و‬َ‫َف‬َ‫ت‬ْ‫ج‬َ‫ر‬َ‫َخ‬ُ‫ث‬ْ‫ي‬َ‫َح‬ْ‫ن‬‫وم‬َََ‫ن‬‫و‬ُ‫ل‬َ‫م‬ْ‫ع‬َ‫اَت‬َّ‫م‬َ‫َع‬ٍ‫ل‬‫اف‬َ‫غ‬‫َب‬ُِّ‫اَاّلل‬َ‫م‬َ‫َو‬َ‫ك‬ِّ‫ب‬َّ‫نَر‬‫َُّم‬‫ق‬َ‫ْح‬‫ل‬َ‫ل‬َُ‫ه‬َّ‫ن‬‫إ‬َ‫و‬َ . This is the correct translation of the verse 2:149. However, soon I will write on this topic in more detail in which I will include the analysis of each single word of this verse 2:149 together with the other similar verses of the Quran.
  • 5. Why do we need the Kaaba if the Quran has urged the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Allah gave him clear orders to demolish the unlawful mosque and its seeds (other mosques following the same direction)? To develop more understanding about the Qibla please see the detailed analysis and the correct translation of the verse 2:177 in my articles on Salaah. Regards Dr Kashif Khan 30th July 2016
