The Farmington Area Community Garden held an Open House <br />to showcase the facility and attract new gardeners. <br />
The garden is a true community partnership project.    <br />
These gardeners were on hand working on their gardens and providing information to visitors.       <br />
A steady stream of visitors got an up-close look.           <br />
Gardeners explained  what is growing in their plots <br />
Refreshments and recipes were on hand for visitors. Freshly picked produce was provided to make the recipes at home.    <b...
Garden plots are surrounded on all sides by a mulch border and protective fencing is also provided.   <br />
