My occupational identity for assessment 1 component 3 part 2

2. Gymnast
I am a Gymnast, I have done it
since I was 5 and feel it is a large
part of my occupational identity
because I have spent so long
doing it.

3. Team
Member
I am a Team member, I have
represented Otago for 8 years, and
I am proud to be a part of the
team. We support each other at
nationals and travel together.
These are memories and friends I
can keep forever.

4. Judge
I am a Qualified Judge, I get to sit
at a table with the best view of the
competition floor. I also get a
little present for my good work. It
means I get to give back to the
sport through the competition
aspect of it.

5. Coach
I am a coach, it allows me to give
back to the gymnastics
community and pass on my
experience and knowledge.

6. Daughter
I am a daughter, this forms part of
my occupational identity as she
has supported me in everything
I’ve done, so when have done it
together. Traveling to
Christchurch or Australia for
competitions.

7. Sister
I am a sister, we argue, share
clothes, go places together. We are
each others support people when
going to family functions. We are
always there for each other. I was
able to be a bridesmaid for my
eldest sisters wedding.

8. Student
I am a student, trying to become a
qualified occupational therapist as
part of my future occupational
self.

9. Pet owner
I am a pet owner, taking the dogs
for a run on the beach or the
classic chore of feeding the dogs
for pocket money. I have always
had a dog in my life and would
have no idea what its like without
one… probably hair free.

10. Friend
I am a friend. Going to the movies
with friends or just hanging out. I
am able to support my friends and
be there for them just like they
would for me.

11. Yoga
This is a new part of my
occupational identity, it helps to
keep me fit and healthy. It is also
rewarding when you are able to get a
position and hold it.
