M.Com.(CA) Department is entrusted with formulating and
implementing eight Online Short Term Courses exclusively
for the benefits of the rural and urban masses as well as
students. Especially, to integrate the ICT and to promote the
Technology Enhanced Learning this year.
M.Com.(CA) Department has initiated Ten Online Short
Term Courses for 20 days. The candidates are enriched with
knowledge about the courses and they are evaluated and
provided with valid certificates.
Mr.R.D.Sivakumar was appointed as the Co-
ordinator of the Online Short Term Courses.

Project Development”, “SQL”, “Powerpoint Presentation” and
“English Keyboard Typing” for the benefits of our College
Students and outsiders.

As the world is moving rapidly towards digital information, the role of ICT
in education is becoming more and more important.
ICT is playing a vital role in bringing about qualitative change in
governance of Higher Education.
Integration of ICT into basic education has been a defining feature of
education all over the World in recent years.
Mr.R.D.Sivakumar, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of
M.Com. (CA) created Android QR Code in 10 Computer subjects (Free
to download).
14. AWARDS RECEIVED
Mr.R.D.Sivakumar, Assistant Professor and Head,
Department of M.Com. (CA), ANJA College, Sivakasi received
the “Best Techno Faculty Award - 2015” for the futuristic and
outstanding Best Practices in implementing ICT based teaching-
learning process to develop the next generation students with the
modern day competencies by the ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu
(ICTACT), Chennai. Dr. C. Sylendra Babu, IPS, ADGP, Costal
Security Group, Tamil Nadu presented a Certificate and award
held at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai on
17.02.2015.

ANJAC is known for its excellence in all fields, especially
in Extension and Consultancy services.
Department of M.Com. (CA) has successfully completed
22 Consultancy projects for website development. I am very
happy to inform that the M.Com.(CA) Staff and Students
completed Consultancy Projects from various Industries. The
honorarium earned by them has come to the tune of a massive
amount of Rs.83,000/- during the current academic year.

26. WOMEN SAFETY MEASURES INITIATED
• It is mandatory for all the students to wear ID card. This is to
identify strangers and ultimately ensure the safety of girl
students.
• Whenever the girls undertake study tour/attend the inter-
collegiate programmes, it is mandatory that girls are
accompanied by a women staff escort for their safety.
• The college management bears the TA/DA of the women
escorts.
• Rest Rooms for girls and women staff.
• The Post Graduate Department of Commerce (CA) helps the
girls to apply on-line on scholarships like single girl and merit
scholarships.
• The Department of Commerce (CA)is running a separate Cell
for the women to take care of their health and nutrition.
27. GREEN MEASURES ADOPTED
• Banning of using Polythene bags are banned and maintaining
green ambience
• Printer cartridges refilled rather than buying new ones
• Hard copies are replaced by Soft copies at the maximum
• Students are encouraged to use Laptops instead of Desktops
• Switching off monitors and printers when not used
• Sharing of Systems when the power is cut
• Making the students to switch off lights and fans when they go
out.
