2. Doors of all 6 stores were relatively
narrow:
For people also pushing children’s trolleys it is difficult to get in the stores.
Also the narrow doors do not facilitate customers getting at the same time in
and out.
Hidden opportunity: Create wider doors to attract also women with children
Trolleys to go inside the stores
3. Coloured Store Names:
The stores which had clear written colourful Store Logos Name were more
appealing and standed out more than the stores that did not contain a clear
Identifible logo:
4. Coloured Store Logo Names:
• Example of a store that was not so
appealing because it had no clear Store
logo name:
5. Biggest surprise
• Yellow - symbolic for the post office - was
very appealing because of the colour. Also
the high ceiling with many yellow
interesting offers which make it worth the
waiting in line:
6. Findings:Electronic Flash light Bar
attracted younger people:
• The store has an adequate
Light which is inviting which
Is not too dark.
I found out that i generally like
more stores that are rather
big and spacy than those
tiny boutiques.
7. Hidden opportunity:
• I saw at the t-shirt store below that no
shirts had a pocket sued at the back of the
t-shirt that could serve to carry money
(which could replace traveling money
pocket bags)
8. Hidden Opportunity
• It is sometimes very time consuming to try
various t-shirts and clothes because we
are not sure if a medium size is too large
or too small and is often dependant on the
brand.
It would be great if there was a machine placed in the store which
could measure your size measures and compare it with the brand
Sizes and how measurements vary between the T-shirt brands in the store.
This could help in reducing the amount of time
Spent in the cabinets.
