Special Events
2. Beginning and End of the Year Act
• The school year starts in March and finishes in November.
• Weall celebrate the two occasions organising two acts.
Parents are invited to celebrate with us.
• In the end-of-year act, the most outstanding students and
teachers receive prizes.
4. National Ceremonies
• Act Commission: an organisation that holds acts.
• Students cook, organise and set up the act all on their own.
• They perform something artistic and the public participate.
6. Spring and Halloween
• Kindergarten celebrates them having a costume party.
• Primary celebrates them with a talent show.
• High school, celebrates haveing breakfast. They bring cakes,
drinks, sweets and others. They also organise contest.
8. Theatre Event
• Theatre Gala: all the courses perform in Astros theatre.
• Drama teachers choose a thematic, for example, Beauty and
the Beast and prepare a choreography.
• Students from 6th year organise their own show.
• Families are invited to enjoy the presentations.
9. Theatre Event
We will start doing an interview to Roberto, the drama
headmaster. He will talk a little bit about the different acts
and the gala.

10. How we worked for this project
• The teacher divided us into 4 groups and each one was
assigned a specific topic.
• To work with special events, we divided them and in the end
we unite them all in a Power Point presentation.
• At the end of each class we had to give the teacher the
written material for her to check and in the next class we
would correct our mistakes.
• We enjoyed working on IVO school’s events!
