1. Yves Hervieu Causse
Yves Hervieu-Causse has many years of experience covering asset management, corporate
finance, forex trading, family office management, legal practice, and business development.
Worked for Unigestion Geneva between 1987 and 1999. Founding partner of Aforge Finance
asset management business in 1999 (sold to Banque Degroof in April 2008). Manager of funds of
funds between 1994 and 2012.
Yves Hervieu-Causse is a founding partner of Hugo Fund Services. Yves has 28 years of experience
within the financial industry, covering asset management, corporate finance, trading, family office
management, legal practice, and business development. Trained as a lawyer, he worked for
Unigestion Geneva between 1987 and 1999; was then a founding partner of Aforge Finance where
he worked from 1999 to 2012.

2. Introduction
Both at Unigestion and Aforge, Yves Hervieu-Causse was responsible for the
creation and development of the collective investment products department. Managed the
set-up and authorisation process of Unigestion Funds Management SA in Geneva and of
Unigestion Asset Management (France) SA, a mutual fund management company (for
both he served as director). Additionally, he served as director for a number of regulated
mutual funds and SICAVs as well as a number of offshore hedge funds and other funds
created under the part II of the European directive. A swiss national, he graduated from
University of Geneva law school, Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva and
New York University law school. Member of Geneva Bar. Yves speaks French and English.

University of Geneva and New York
University. He is currently an executive
director at Aforge Gestion where he also has
the responsibility of managing a number of
funds. Prior to working at Aforge Gestion he
worked for 12 years at Unigestion Asset
Management where he was a fund manager
and worked on structured products.
