How technology has benefitted my final product

media technologies in
the construction and
research, planning and
evaluation stages?

2. Research and planning
During my research I was fortunate to
have internet access on a mac
computer so I was able to look online
at the different types of conventions
that surrounded my target age group.
This helped me a lot because I was
able to find out what certain things my
target audience are interested in.
I used a program called “Blogger”
where instead of writing all of my notes
on paper, I could record any
information on a blog. I was able to
share this with the public which
benefits me because it allows me to
share my ideas.
I found numerous articles that proved
young people confide in fashion
because it makes them feel part of a

3. Construction
I constructed my website on a website builder called
“Wix” where I was given the resources in order to
build my own website, I found this programme very
helpful because it guided me throughout the entire
process so I was able to complete my final website
in a matter of weeks. Benefits of having a computer
to help me create the structure of my product was
that it took a reasonable amount of time, it was very
easy to use and understand. I also had the access
to trendy styles that I was able to use on my final
product which was available on the website.

4. Evaluation
Throughout my evaluation I stuck with “Blogger”
simply because it was easier for me to keep my
work together. Again I had the access to the
internet which helped me to complete my 4
questions in my evaluation because I was able to
look up the benefits of technology and how it has
impacted my project. I feel as though Blogger
encouraged my writing a lot because it gave me
the storage of limitless posts I could add to the
blog, I was able to combine each together so that
they linked with each other
