I am a Natural Resources Assistant with 5 years experience in documenting the biodiversity of the Piedmont of North Carolina, conducting field work to monitor populations of rare plants, and performing surveys of of various taxa of wildlife. My current focus is on the Lepidoptera of Mecklenburg County, NC where I organize and add to the Lepidoptera collection housed at the J. F. Matthews Center for Biodiversity Studies. In my role at the Center for Biodiversity studies I have had the privilege to assist in sorting out the abundant moth taxonomy found in North Carolina.
