10. What We Did
Composed Zzz by ear, with the aim of creating
a bubbly song
Did second half of animation, on time and with
improved quality
Moved filming to Khang’s house, where there
would be less problems, such as more
flexibility to arrange monitors
11. What we
Settled For
Itsumo no Fuukei used as final music, as we
felt it fit the theme better
Uncoloured animation, due to time constraints
and technical difficulties
Different camera, so filming quality may look
inconsistent to sharp viewers
24. Filming
(Pre HCI)School Computer Lab
3 school computers and Khang’s computer
Kieran’s Camera- Sony a37
Put keyboards under table and use control+enter to
play

Late Night Rushing
A very good morning to the judges, teachers and fellow students. My name is Kieran Yeo from 1i2 and this is khang from the same class. Today we will be presenting our creative arts project, the hci impact.
The concept of this short animation is a monitor to monitor effect, to create the illusion that the character will be moving through various places by carrying out filming on various monitors. This will be completed by final. The concept here is to show the impact of hwachong on a student, so as to inspire primary school students to come to hwachong and to generally shed a good light on hwachong.
The purpose I to encourage students to come to hwachong, so they can leave their own impact on society in a good way, and to show how hwachong transforms a person into someone better.
We got into this project after watching a youtube video entitled the legend of digital zelda by a youtuber, final cut king. The animation style, according to khang, is inspired by asdf and the adobe instruction manual.
This short is generally aimed at primary school students to interest them into coming to hwachong. Additionally, members of the public who would like to know more about hwachong can watch this short, along with our fellow hwahongians that may be interested in viewing this clip.Maybe this is to try to reach out to those poor kids who had a horrible childhood
Animate with CS6 using tweens. iMovie may be used to insert sound and transitions and touchup.
The Music we chose was Itsumo no Fuukei by satorukousaki. Under copyright law 107, we are able to use this song as long as it’s for non-profit purposes, such as uses for education and scholarship. We chose this piece as we felt it fit te theme well. Whoever, I decided to rearrange it, and changed the instruments used and the score. I transposed it by ear and made the song change with the plot. A little.
From the project so far, we learnt many things. KhangShouldn’t procrastinate, tweening, deal with layered animation better, compromise.KieranChoosing music, composing via ear, editing music, searching copyright lawbook, compromisation.
