Stock characters in a slasher horror are
recurring characteristics that create the
cast. To help me create my horror trailer I
have done some research on each
stock character so that I can find which
one is best suited for my protagonist.

The wanderer is the character who likes
to investigate things and separates
themselves from the group leading them
to either get kidnapped or most likely
killed by the antagonist.

4. 
The popular girl is the girl who is
pretty, arrogant and sees herself before
others, with this attitude she is usually
paid back with negative consequences.
She is also usually romantically linked
with the Jock.

5. 
The Jock is the sporty male
who isn’t very intelligent
but has a lot of power and
authority within the group.
He would usually try to do
something heroic but then
ends up being killed as a
result.

6. 
The final girl is the girl within the group
who remains alive to confront her killer
and also to tell her story of how it all
happened.

7. 
The pervert is a
guy who likes to
peep at girls
when they are
not looking, as a
result of this the
pervert is killed.

8. 
This character is someone
who no one in the group is
familiar with or know
anything about. The
stranger will usually appear
as people are being killed/
disappearing.

9. This character is often a woman who is
rather attractive and appears to be
innocent, but then realises that she is the
total opposite, she is very evil and usually
either the killer or the killers helper.
