2. The Jock
The jock is often a popular guy that all the girls like that is into athletics.
The jocks tends to behave as if they are undefeatable in movies but tend to be the
ones to die.
In final destination the jock below tends to think that he’s the best at everything,
andcan get away with everything until death takes its told.

3. THE FINAL GIRL
The final girl is the person who survives to the end of the movie.
This person is the most reliable, strong willed and most influential character in the
movie.
Also this person tends to be the main attraction of the villain.
For example in scream the woman below seems to always attract the villian.

4. THE POPULAR GIRL
The popular girl always seems to be centre of attention with guys which
makes her to become more confident in herself.
The popular girl tends to be friends with the final girl. Also the popular girl
tends to be into herself and vain.

5. THE WANDERER
The wanderer is the person who wonders around and is
inquisitive about their surroundings.
This haracter is like the baby off the group that needs to be
under supervision.
In slasher horrors these are the first people to die.

6. THE GEEK
This is the person who is voice of reason in a movie. The geek is a
person who is very academic and serious.
This person at times comes up with ideas to defeat the villain.
On the other hand the geek can be the person who conforms and follows
what the group does.

7. THE PERVERT
The Pervert is usually exposed in a negative manner.
The pervert tends to have his eyes on a particular girl who he goes to lengths to
sleep with.
In this case the villain tends to attack the pervert.

8. OVERALL
I would say that the stock characters of horror movies are very crucial in
shaping a horror movie. I say this because the audience should be able to
identify with people in the movie. In social groups their tends to be friendship
groups with at last with these stock characters. When making my trailer I will
definitely include the stock characters in my trailer.
