centred around very sexual themes.They
never seem to be the main focus of the killer
but almost always end up being killed
alongside a more important character e.g.
Jock/FinalGirl

5.  A character that at the beginning of the film
is portrayed as innocent but as the story
unveils their true colours are shown.They
either end up being the killer or associated
with the killer.
A perfect example of this is
Esther from the film orphan. At
the beginning of the film she is
thought to be innocent but turns
into the main antagonist of the
film

6.  The cool leading male of the group.Their
sporting achievement gives them a higher
place in the movie hierarchy. Often identified
wearing a varsity/letterman jacket.

7.  The final girl is the last character left at the
end of the film and the only one to survive
despite the antagonist often making them
the main aim of their killings
An example of this is Laurie form
Halloween. She fights back against
the antagonist with a phallic object
of her own.This adds a secondary
feminist sub text to the film
