for this lack of representation may be due to prejudice, but it is important to recognize that women
are viewed as the primary child caregiver in most families. For this reason, many women take off
work for several months after childbirth and are often thwarted from higher positions because they
take leave. If both males and females had shorter work weeks, then both genders would be able to
devote more time to child care, allowing women to continue to work sooner and progress in their
fields. In addition, studies have shown that men who take paternity leave are more devoted to their
families and are 50% more likely to help their wives with domestic labor, such as cooking, cleaning,

We trudged up the rigid, brown steps, knowing that the unknown was ahead. We were on our way,

of this paper I will be talking about a compressed four day work week, not a shortened four day
work week or extended four day work week, this refers to a four hour work week I will be talking
about a schedule that consists of four, ten hour days, which is still a full forty hour work week. I will

comes to working a four day work week. In addition to looking at the benefits to those directly

With the Elders continually being overtaxed with duties, this slowly transitioned to recruited lay–
men.
Criteria in hand, I developed a multiple–month strategy aimed at attracting new members. Past
precedent and best practices with volunteers indicated that that simply putting out bulletin messages
was not an effective recruitment tool. Thus, our team's first step was the initiation of several face–
to–face challenges to people we knew to consider the ministry. I believe this attempt failed due in
part to most of the people that we knew were either already engaged in other ministries, or did not
wish to join one.
The next phases included requesting the Small Group Ministry to alert their Group Leaders of the
opportunity to serve the Church; both individually and/or as a small group. This was closely
followed by a similar request to both the Men's, Women's, and High School /Middle School Youth
ministries. I requested that if they were willing to get the word out to us to please make it an in–
person and personal appeal at their meetings (again, because general "we need help" emails tend to

CT scanner technicians. In particular, this study presents optimised rosters with minimal technicians

The devised roster should satisfy the following requirements:
 The rosters cover 6am to 10pm of each day
 The shifts must be at least 4 hours and at most 8 hours
 There must be at least a 12 hour break between shifts
 In any week, no technician can work more than two shifts that finish after 6pm

Most people start full time work at 22 years old and retire at 66. They work all day during the week

you haven't heard about the junior doctor's strike then you've either been living under a rock or
you're part of the BNP, who have still failed to recognise the issue. In total, there are over 55,000
junior doctors in England – representing a third of the medical workforce. So how can our NHS

Critique #1 Reichard, Avey, Lopez and Dollwet (2013) systematically reviewed empirical research
conducted on hope and the workplace. The studies that were incorporated in the meta–analysis
totaled 11,139 participants from 45 independent samples. The studies were collected by doing an
electronic search on academic databases and also by directly contacting journals and authors.
Selections were based on their quantitative measures between hope and work–related outcomes. A
coding protocol was developed and the r statistic was chosen as the effect size on determining the
correlation between hope and work outcomes. The results of the analysis indicated that hope had a
positive moderate correlation with job satisfaction (mean ρ = 0.37), organizational commitment
(mean ρ = 0.31), work performance (mean ρ = 0.27) and health and well–being (mean ρ = 0.44).
There was also a negative moderate relationship between hope and burnout and stress (mean ρ = –
0.35). Based on these observed correlations, there was a higher probability of employees
experiencing successful job performance and health and well–being when there were high levels of

interest in setting up a booth for the bonfire to raise both awareness and money for the Eliminate
project. I'm extremely passionate about this project and can go on a rant about it, but I'll try my
absolute hardest to give you a quick little summary:
The Eliminate project is our main service project that Key Club International is focusing on this
year, and we have been dedicated to this project since it began five years ago. Kiwanis (who
sponsors Key Club) and UNICEF formed a partnership to eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus
(MNT) from the face of the planet. Primarily in countries with poor birthing conditions, tetanus
spores (found in soil everywhere) may infect open wounds, infecting the umbilical cord and causing
the newborn to contract MNT. Known to be the seven–day death, the baby suffers from excruciating
convulsions and an extreme sensitivity to light, sound, and touch, preventing even a mother's

Nearly seven years ago, when I started working for the local DirecTV installation company, it wasn't
