Logline:
A group of scientists devote their time and effort to travel to the uncharted land of Antarctica ,where they aim
to exploreand find new knowledge and materials,only to discover a sub-specious of creatures or beings trying
to murder them and now they must escape with their lives before this unknown force gets them in disturbing
ways.
Plot:
In the cold climateof 1908, four scientists travel to the untouched freezing land of Antarctica for their
expedition. George Davis the protagonistis an optimistic person who tells a scary talein a campfirelikefashion
about the mysterious caseof Phillip.HWallacewho went missingwhich relates to himtellinglegends of
horrific creatures called “Cosas Mayores”and a lostcivilization.Heis considered to be everyone’s favourite
within the group of four, being your average every man that people likehavinga great personality,intellect
and determination to his cause.
Richard Brown who is the leader of the group is a very straightforward squareperson with a dry sense of
humour. In charge of this expedition, he interrupts George to informhim of their arrival in Antarctica and to
get the other two main characters to unload their equipment off the ship.Richard is strategically smarter than
the other in terms of survival by always beingprepared and precise.
Edwin Brown younger brother of Richard and Ernest Alcock is found by George at the ship’s lavatory.Ernestis
vomiting violently into the toilet; ill fromsome sort of sickness,hehas a weird hallucination foreshadowing
future events. Edwin is a littleoverconfident in himself with a big ego is a wisecrack in situationswith witty
humour. George snaps both of them out and fulfilsthem with the excitingnews of their arrival on Antarctica.
In Antarctica, they travel to the heart of the continent for their purposeto find new research and discoveries
that could benefit the world. They come across differentobstacles such as extreme weather conditions that
give them a hard time but with their preparation and friendship with each other, they successfully find new
materials and research after a stayingin Antarctica for days now. However, duringthese firstdays Ernest who
at firstwas more comfortablebeing indoors with paper charts rather than to adventure outside to get the
results.He has unusual breakdowns havinga PTSD from the war and recently gainingunnatural parasitethat
has infected him which will lead to everyone’s doom. Being followed by something unnatural,a black human
handprinton the snow followingthem and that only Ernest can sense. Edwin being frustrated of Ernest’s
slowness and physically beingscrawnier and smaller argues to keep moving havingbeen on previous
adventures around the world. They rest for the night.
Exploringthe land George and Ernest soon discovers a cavewith the decomposed armof Phillip HWallaceand
his notebook. They learn the lastmoments recorded by Phillip and his reasonsfor comingto Antarctica.
Learning the terrifyingnotes of Phillip’s discoveries of a sub-specious of humans that relateto George’s old
myth they hurry back to inform the rest of the group.
Back at camp, the group is informed of Phillip’s paranoia and beingobsessed over the myth and that he had his
theory of on it sayingnursery rhyme that made all the characters especially Ernestscared makinghimact
strangely.The group argue among themselves coming up their own logical theories of his death. Richard is the
one in the group who is disbelieved by the idea of unnatural things thatgoes againstthe sciencehe knows and
is obliviousto the series of events happeningaround himat first.They decided to venture out tomorrow to the
cave, which could no longer be found.
After wakingup from a nightmare sequence Ernest and the others venture out to try to find the cave but
instead discover dead rotting bodies in the snow. Investigatingthe bodies,they all noticeunusual signssuch as
missingclothes,weird injuries and missingbody parts such as a tongue. With the realization of the group’s
nationality,they found their campsite, in which George with his intellectdeduces that the rips in the tent were
ripped from insidethe tent instead outside.This worried the group more as some startto get the idea of
something supernatural happening.Panicked and wanting to leave as well as Ernest havingmore physical and
mental signs of weirdness that the group starts to notice.
Hearing more sounds that are horrific and seeingbizarreoccurrences such as thetime of day being wrong they
decide to go to shore where they left the boat to leave. The situation gets worse as Edwin accidentally steps in
a metal clawtrap that fatally injureshis leftnot being ableto walk. The group carryingEdwin arecloseto the
boat but take a minute to rest and try to comprehend the events happening. Ernest is then revealed as a
possessed spy for whatever itis and turns inhuman. With his clouded black eyes, he expressed to the group of

his trauma and his fear of what the creature is.He tries to convincethem to go to the mountain to see the
“cosas mayores”and use their advanced medicine. Left by the crew and killed by the monster chasingthem, in
which each member is killed off one by one in different ways such as Richard sacrificinghimself for the others
to live.Richard cares abouteveryone getting to safety more than anyone else being somewhat leader of the
party and older brother to Edwin. For this that reason,he is the one that decides which areas to go in
Antarctica and where to camp or hide. His seriousness isexactly whatmakes hima good leader.
In the end, George is the only left standing.Reaching the boat to only notice itis aged and withered away as if
it had been here for decades. The character knows his fate at this point throwing journal documenting
everything so far includingobservation of different items havingfuture dates on them likethe clawtrap.
Igniting a flareto have one final showdown with it, he is slaughtered off camera.
A time-displaced ship fromanother century pass by the shore George was on. A pool of blood is left where
George was standingas well as pieces of his hair and rightleg scattered and torn around the pool of his blood.
