Certification was awarded by TUV SUD South Asia Pvt Ltd. Personnel's of all four manufacturing location were assigned to work with each other to develop the best procedures. The result was one Quality System for the entire Veer Group.We felt it was critical that every manufacturing unit followed the same Quality System with the same policies and procedures. 8. History of Veer The history of the group dates back to 1960, to a small trading house in Textiles. In mid 1970’s Mr. K S Arora the founder of Veer Group then commenced the production of Textiles Fabrics as a backward integration for trading house. In early 1980’s Veer Group switched to trading in Woven Sacks, it was in in 1983 the chairman of Veer Group then incorporated Veer Plastics Pvt Limited and started manufacturing Woven sacks at Kadi location Near Ahmedabad in Gujarat Province of India. The initial business concept was based on the recognition of a demand for woven fabric/ sacks for the packaging of various industrial products in India. The startup capacity for extrusion and circular weaving was suitable for 120,000 linear meters of woven fabrics per month. By 1985 the production capacities of extrusion and weaving has been increased to 2.00 linear meters per month. In 1995 a new 100% fully integrated production facility was opened in Santej area, initially it was started with installed capacity of producing 2.10 million linear mtrs. By 2005 The production capacities were increased by four fold in Santej, and a new production facility was started in Silvasa with new technology machines. The production capacity of veer group was now 2500 Tons/ Month or 20.10 Million Mtrs / Month. This sustainable technology allows customers the advantages of higher quality/ strength fabrics or customized bags for various applications. The Santej facilities now provides customers a broad range of Sacks, Fabrics, FIBC’s.
9. History of Veer In 2008 a major investment was completed to add the latest technology machinery for Woven sacks and Non Woven Fabrics at Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh. The Nalagarh complex also includes an expanded spun bonded non woven production capability. Steady growth brought the work force to over 3200 members by 2008. By now Veer group has emerged as one of the largest 100% vertically integrated manufacturing plants in India thus providing the best quality products and services to customer at competitive prices and at low turn around delivery time Striving for continual improvement, today with a capacity of processing 42000 MTA, Veer Group have sustained leadership in the manufacturing of PP/HDPE sacks, “0” Defect Fabrics, FIBC’s, Technical Textiles and Spun Bonded Non Woven.
