How to become Positive
from Football Game?
Part - 2

Football is the most popular sport in the
world. No doubt that lot of people are
attracted to it and follow up latest news and
results.
Even if we are talking about categories which
are not watching football on TV, even though
many of them practiced it at different times
& know basic rules of it.
The result is that almost everyone knows this
game and knows at least what are the main
rules.

The objective of this presentation is to
provide
positive
values
​and
characteristics in ourselves and get rid
of negative ones through things in
football.

5) Morals:
b) Bad Morals:
Anger:
This bad characteristic is common –
unfortunately – in most of the matches
between players.
It leads usually to bad results like yellow
or red cars which can effect the team.
Anger has bad effect on health &
personality. Angry people are usually not
likable by others and people try always to
avoid them.

Cont. / Bad Morals:
Frustration:
We can notice this characteristic in some
teams especially when they fall behind in
the match by one or two goals. This
happens sometimes in critical matches
with some players.
This bad characteristic will effect the
team and will lead usually to loss since
frustrated players can’t play well.
Frustration is one of the biggest enemies
to positive. The solution is to challenge
any problem or obstacle faced and
continue working with positive attitude.

Cont. / Bad Morals:
Selfishness:
People usually don’t like selfish players
even if they are good players.
This characteristic can result in bad
relations between players since selfish
players like to play & focus everything
to him only.

The same applies in life with selfish
people who are not liked from others.
The solution is to cooperate always with
others since cooperation will lead to
better results & stronger achievements.

Cont. / Bad Morals:
Bad look:
Although bad look is not considered as
moral, but we put it under morals since
the player with bad look has usually bad
morals.

We mean with bad look, the way of hair
cutting or putting (Tattoo) on any part
of the body.
Nice or bad appearance of any one will
reflect his personality, so positive
people should always take care to be in
acceptable appearance.

Arrogance:
As it is with selfishness, people don’t
like arrogant players.
In real life, people don’t respect &
like arrogant persons.

Positive people should get away from
this bad characteristic, instead, they
should respect all people.

6) Match Time:
We can benefit from match time the following:
- Like specific time in matches, we have
specific time for our life from birth up to death
and we don’t know when we will die. If we
think deeply, we will find that this is Allah’s
mercy to us.
- If any person couldn’t complete his task in
any field, he might be given another chances
like what happens in tournaments when one
team looses and still has chances in next
matches.
- Any person has stages in his life starting from
childhood until he reaches to death whether
during young or aging period. It is like football
match which has beginning & end.

Cont. / Match Time:
- Successful people continue with same
efforts and more throughout their life. It
is like winning teams which play well
throughout the match & tournament.
- There is no harm to take some rest
during work for recharging & analyzing
what happened. This is like what
happens in matches where there is two
half times.
- Chances for compensation is always
there in the match until it finishes. The
same applies in our life since we have
chances every day & moment to
develop & be more success until we die.

7) Crowds:
We can benefit from crowds the following:
- It is very important for positive people to
have crowds for them to teach & influence
them. Also, for crowds to support &
motivate positive people.
- There are different crowds in matches.
Some of them are with the first team,
some with the second team and some are
neutral. The same applies in life where we
have different crowds in all fields.
- Whatever crowds do, they don’t have the
ability to score. It is players responsibility
to do that. In life, we are responsible
about we do whatever others say.

- Positive people should always
respect their crowd in order for them
to continue supporting him.

- Positive people should not take care
always about what are being said
about them since there are good or
bad things. Continuing in work is
more important that listening to
these says.

8) Match Commentator:
We can benefit from match commentator the following:
- There is no any effect from commentator
on the match. He describes only what is
happening in the match. We don’t need
many commentators in our life since work
is the important part not talking.
- We should take care about our wording
since it has critical effect. If it was nice &
truth it will effect positively; otherwise; it
will cause troubles.
- Describing events should be as actual,
accurate & truth. This is what differentiates
good commentators from others. The same
applies in life for anyone.

- Ensuring the accuracy of
information is very important
before saying them to others. Good
commentators do that, so they are
trusted from others.
- Any word we say, it will not come
back again to our mouth, so we
should always take care & think
before we say anything.

9) Coach:
We can benefit from coach the following:
- Every person in his life has coach(s)
that coached him in different fields.
Parents, brothers, sisters, relatives,
teachers…etc.
- Every coach in any field should realize
the importance of role he is performing.
- Usually, the coach is an experienced
person & he tries to transfer his
experience to those who teach them.
- Respect to coaches is very important
since they are older than us.

Cont. / Coach:
- Planning should be based on studies &
analyzing
current
situation
with
ambitious & challenges. This one of the
main roles of any coach.
- Decision making & solving problems
are main skills for any success coach.
- Taking responsibilities is one of the
important factors that makes success
coaches specially when problems or
crisis happen, but this responsibility
should reflect in good future planning &
coaching in order to success next times.

Cont. / Coach:
- Building team is main task of any
coach & more important is team
work between members.
- Trust between coach and players or
members will lead to success;
otherwise; always blaming will be
there between the two parties.

- Coaches should always motivate &
support his players or members since
they are in need for this motivation &
support in order to continue working.

10) Technical & Administrative Team:
We can benefit from this team the following:
- Each person has his own abilities & he
can support others with these abilities.
- Integration between all members is very
important to success. In football, when
any player get injured, the team which
treat him is medical team & without
them, the player might not be able to
continue.
- If anyone didn’t perform his tasks well,
he will affect all the team. Imagine that
fitness coach didn’t appear in team
training, he will surly cause some bad
effects on team. The same applies in any
team in our life.

11) Violations:
We can benefit from violations the following:
- Punishment is one of the main
principles in education specially with
repeated violations, but the important
thing is to choose the right punishment in
order to give its good result.
- Punishing all members because of one
person fault is wrong. Only the violated
person should be punished not others.
- Punishment levels are different as in
football match where we have warning,
yellow & red cards. We should use the
right level with respective to the violation
done.

Cont. /Violations:
- Any punishment should be applied after
several attempts to correct wrong actions
done. Punishment should be the last
option.
- If we asked the violated person why did
he violated? He will usually answer that
he was angry at that time. We should
stay away from this bad characteristic.
- In any match, if any player made any
violation, he will be punished and he will
not have chance to come back from his
fault. In life there is always chance to
correct things and the best solution to do
that is to be positive.

Thirdly: After Match
1) Emotions:
We can benefit from emotions the following:
- We can notice in football that there
no team that will win always as well as
there no team that will loose always. In
life, There no one who will be happy
always. Also, there is no one will be
sad always. In happiness, we should
thank Allah & continue working hard.
In sadness, we should be patient & not
complain.

Cont. / Emotions:
- If we are in sad condition, we should
not blame others as some players do
when they loose a match or
tournament. We should be patient &
benefit from what caused this sadness
in order not to fall in it again.
- Remembering sad events always will
effect the person in his life, instead,
one should forget what happened and
think always about current situation
and how to improve & develop in
future.

2) Press Conference:
We can benefit from press conference the following:
- Positive & optimism are required always. In
case of wining, we should ensure that we will
continue on this direction. In case of lost, we
should say that this only a temporary case & we
will be back again.
- We should be away from blaming members
since they did their best efforts; instead, we
should thank them for their nice efforts.
- Also, we should not blame other parties as it
happens sometimes in football when blaming is
done on referees or crowds. We should always
review & develop ourselves instead of these
blaming which not help at all.

3) Injuries:
We can benefit from injuries the following:
- We should always take care to avoid any
injuries. If it happens, we should thank
Allah first, then take treatment in order to
come back better than previously.
- Good planning & readiness will avoid us
injuries as much as possible.
- Substitutes should be available always in
case of any main member injured.
- Treatment might take long time, so we
should be patient towards it. Also, we
should seek for best & suitable treatments.

4) Rewards & Punishments:
We can benefit from rewards & punishments the following:
- When someone make achievements, his
leaders & managers should appreciate &
reward him for his achievements. This will
support & give him energy for more
achievement.
- Rewards have good effect on person &
team and it is required between time and
another in order to increase productivity &
interest at work.
- Fairness at the time of rewarding
between all team members is very
important; otherwise, it will cause bad
results & effects instead of happiness.

Cont. / Rewards & Punishments:
- Punishment objective should be clear
specially for those who were punished. We
should know that one of the main
objectives for punishments is to correct the
wrong behaviors.

- Some peoples are specialized in catching
problems
and
issuing
punishment
accordingly. On the other hand; they will
not care so much about achievements. This
is one of the problems which need to be
solved.
- Punishment is necessary for people who
repeat faults several times. These
punishment can bring them back to the
correct way.

There are many benefits from this
game & we wanted from this
presentation to open our minds for
some of these benefits.
We wanted from these benefits to
be applied in our life so that we
feel when we play football that it is
not only for fun, but for us to learn
from it.
We wanted to say also that we can
benefit from any useful games.

  • 2. Football is the most popular sport in the world. No doubt that lot of people are attracted to it and follow up latest news and results. Even if we are talking about categories which are not watching football on TV, even though many of them practiced it at different times & know basic rules of it. The result is that almost everyone knows this game and knows at least what are the main rules. The objective of this presentation is to provide positive values ​and characteristics in ourselves and get rid of negative ones through things in football. 2
  • 3. 5) Morals: b) Bad Morals: Anger: This bad characteristic is common – unfortunately – in most of the matches between players. It leads usually to bad results like yellow or red cars which can effect the team. Anger has bad effect on health & personality. Angry people are usually not likable by others and people try always to avoid them. 3
  • 4. Cont. / Bad Morals: Frustration: We can notice this characteristic in some teams especially when they fall behind in the match by one or two goals. This happens sometimes in critical matches with some players. This bad characteristic will effect the team and will lead usually to loss since frustrated players can’t play well. Frustration is one of the biggest enemies to positive. The solution is to challenge any problem or obstacle faced and continue working with positive attitude. 4
  • 5. Cont. / Bad Morals: Selfishness: People usually don’t like selfish players even if they are good players. This characteristic can result in bad relations between players since selfish players like to play & focus everything to him only. The same applies in life with selfish people who are not liked from others. The solution is to cooperate always with others since cooperation will lead to better results & stronger achievements. 5
  • 6. Cont. / Bad Morals: Bad look: Although bad look is not considered as moral, but we put it under morals since the player with bad look has usually bad morals. We mean with bad look, the way of hair cutting or putting (Tattoo) on any part of the body. Nice or bad appearance of any one will reflect his personality, so positive people should always take care to be in acceptable appearance. 6
  • 7. Cont. / Bad Morals: Arrogance: As it is with selfishness, people don’t like arrogant players. In real life, people don’t respect & like arrogant persons. Positive people should get away from this bad characteristic, instead, they should respect all people. 7
  • 8. 6) Match Time: We can benefit from match time the following: - Like specific time in matches, we have specific time for our life from birth up to death and we don’t know when we will die. If we think deeply, we will find that this is Allah’s mercy to us. - If any person couldn’t complete his task in any field, he might be given another chances like what happens in tournaments when one team looses and still has chances in next matches. - Any person has stages in his life starting from childhood until he reaches to death whether during young or aging period. It is like football match which has beginning & end. 8
  • 9. Cont. / Match Time: - Successful people continue with same efforts and more throughout their life. It is like winning teams which play well throughout the match & tournament. - There is no harm to take some rest during work for recharging & analyzing what happened. This is like what happens in matches where there is two half times. - Chances for compensation is always there in the match until it finishes. The same applies in our life since we have chances every day & moment to develop & be more success until we die. 9
  • 10. 7) Crowds: We can benefit from crowds the following: - It is very important for positive people to have crowds for them to teach & influence them. Also, for crowds to support & motivate positive people. - There are different crowds in matches. Some of them are with the first team, some with the second team and some are neutral. The same applies in life where we have different crowds in all fields. - Whatever crowds do, they don’t have the ability to score. It is players responsibility to do that. In life, we are responsible about we do whatever others say. 10

Cont. / Crowds: - Positive people should always respect their crowd in order for them to continue supporting him. - Positive people should not take care always about what are being said about them since there are good or bad things. Continuing in work is more important that listening to these says. 11
  • 12. 8) Match Commentator: We can benefit from match commentator the following: - There is no any effect from commentator on the match. He describes only what is happening in the match. We don’t need many commentators in our life since work is the important part not talking. - We should take care about our wording since it has critical effect. If it was nice & truth it will effect positively; otherwise; it will cause troubles. - Describing events should be as actual, accurate & truth. This is what differentiates good commentators from others. The same applies in life for anyone. 12
  • 13. Cont. / Match Commentator: - Ensuring the accuracy of information is very important before saying them to others. Good commentators do that, so they are trusted from others. - Any word we say, it will not come back again to our mouth, so we should always take care & think before we say anything. 13
  • 14. 9) Coach: We can benefit from coach the following: - Every person in his life has coach(s) that coached him in different fields. Parents, brothers, sisters, relatives, teachers…etc. - Every coach in any field should realize the importance of role he is performing. - Usually, the coach is an experienced person & he tries to transfer his experience to those who teach them. - Respect to coaches is very important since they are older than us. 14
  • 15. Cont. / Coach: - Planning should be based on studies & analyzing current situation with ambitious & challenges. This one of the main roles of any coach. - Decision making & solving problems are main skills for any success coach. - Taking responsibilities is one of the important factors that makes success coaches specially when problems or crisis happen, but this responsibility should reflect in good future planning & coaching in order to success next times. 15

Cont. / Coach: - Building team is main task of any coach & more important is team work between members. - Trust between coach and players or members will lead to success; otherwise; always blaming will be there between the two parties. - Coaches should always motivate & support his players or members since they are in need for this motivation & support in order to continue working. 16
  • 17. 10) Technical & Administrative Team: We can benefit from this team the following: - Each person has his own abilities & he can support others with these abilities. - Integration between all members is very important to success. In football, when any player get injured, the team which treat him is medical team & without them, the player might not be able to continue. - If anyone didn’t perform his tasks well, he will affect all the team. Imagine that fitness coach didn’t appear in team training, he will surly cause some bad effects on team. The same applies in any team in our life. 17
  • 18. 11) Violations: We can benefit from violations the following: - Punishment is one of the main principles in education specially with repeated violations, but the important thing is to choose the right punishment in order to give its good result. - Punishing all members because of one person fault is wrong. Only the violated person should be punished not others. - Punishment levels are different as in football match where we have warning, yellow & red cards. We should use the right level with respective to the violation done. 18
  • 19. Cont. /Violations: - Any punishment should be applied after several attempts to correct wrong actions done. Punishment should be the last option. - If we asked the violated person why did he violated? He will usually answer that he was angry at that time. Thirdly: After Match 1) Emotions: We can benefit from emotions the following: - We can notice in football that there no team that will win always as well as there no team that will loose always. In life, There no one who will be happy always. Also, there is no one will be sad always. In happiness, we should thank Allah & continue working hard. In sadness, we should be patient & not complain. 20
  • 21. Cont. / Emotions: - If we are in sad condition, we should not blame others as some players do when they loose a match or tournament. We should be patient & benefit from what caused this sadness in order not to fall in it again. - Remembering sad events always will effect the person in his life, instead, one should forget what happened and think always about current situation and how to improve & develop in future. 21
  • 22. 2) Press Conference: We can benefit from press conference the following: - Positive & optimism are required always. In case of wining, we should ensure that we will continue on this direction. In case of lost, we should say that this only a temporary case & we will be back again. - We should be away from blaming members since they did their best efforts; instead, we should thank them for their nice efforts. - Also, we should not blame other parties as it happens sometimes in football when blaming is done on referees or crowds. We should always review & develop ourselves instead of these blaming which not help at all. 22
  • 23. 3) Injuries: We can benefit from injuries the following: - We should always take care to avoid any injuries. If it happens, we should thank Allah first, then take treatment in order to come back better than previously. - Good planning & readiness will avoid us injuries as much as possible. - Substitutes should be available always in case of any main member injured. - Treatment might take long time, so we should be patient towards it. Also, we should seek for best & suitable treatments. 23
  • 24. 4) Rewards & Punishments: We can benefit from rewards & punishments the following: - When someone make achievements, his leaders & managers should appreciate & reward him for his achievements. This will support & give him energy for more achievement. - Rewards have good effect on person & team and it is required between time and another in order to increase productivity & interest at work. - Fairness at the time of rewarding between all team members is very important; otherwise, it will cause bad results & effects instead of happiness. 24
  • 25. Cont. / Rewards & Punishments: - Punishment objective should be clear specially for those who were punished. We should know that one of the main objectives for punishments is to correct the wrong behaviors. - Some peoples are specialized in catching problems and issuing punishment accordingly. On the other hand; they will not care so much about achievements. This is one of the problems which need to be solved. - Punishment is necessary for people who repeat faults several times. These punishment can bring them back to the correct way. 25
