Editor's Notes
Let me start by introducing TreeTalk. We are building the Terminal, the System and the software environment for real-time voice communications in groups.
Thus, we are creating a new class of mobile devices and a new global communications ecosystem in order to replace outdated Land Mobile Radio transceivers.
First, we have addressed the problems of the low-cost segment of the LMR market.
Currently LMR consumer groups, mostly use analog conventional and trunked radio, which have a number of flaws, such as
a limited range of communication, a need for power amplifiers and bulky antennas, an unstable signal quality, and so on.
However, segment ratings show at least 2 billion dollars a year profit from sales of new devices.
Why have people been buying these pricey radios for 100 years? Because of 3 simple advantages.
First, it allows you to broadcast.
Second, it provides an instant connection.
Third, it is easy to use. Push one button and talk to all groups.
What does OUR product look like? And why is it different?
We are going to carefully transplant the above mentioned advantages onto a new technical platform.
This is conventional radio. This is our terminal. It has the same controls, but is based on a completely different principle.
Conventional radio transmits sound on a dedicated frequency, thereby blocking it.
We've made sophisticated embedded software to digitize and compress speech and to transmit it through existing wireless data networks.
There are some external differences you will notice.
First, our terminal has no antennas at all.
Second, acting on customer feedback, we have added a "Repeat" button in the case of misunderstanding or failure to hear the other party.
We also made the last housing in sizes to fit the standard 1 DIN slot in the dashboard. And we developed a PS unit consuming a wide range of voltage to fit both - cars and trucks.
Besides the evident advantages: constant and instant connection, digital sound without noise, extra features like GNSS and selective call, we are currently developing a new one - collision handler.
This technology untangles voices from different respondents if they start talking simultaneously. It's very important for group conversation.
And you are the first people with whom we are sharing this development.
Usually, those, who seek a real-time voice connection, tend to buy two-way radios and then they face a bunch of problems:
regulations, limitations, barriers during frequency acquisition, complex commissioning and maintenance.
Our solution is very simple for end users. Buy the terminal, create a group via a web front end and get connected.
That's another reason for users to come to us.
Our financial model is quite traditional.
First, we will produce and sell the devices.
Our customers know that professional radios are expensive - 250 up to 1,000 Euro each. Existing customers are realizing
that the systems they use now are outdated and have many drawbacks. We will eliminate these drawbacks. Thus, we can immediately assign a good, fair price for our devices.
Second, we will sell mobile apps, and control software based on our protocols and technologies.
We will also provide a web front-end for combining gadgets and apps into dedicated channels.
We are not dreaming up any new market. There is a huge niche in the B2B segment already, developed and growing. We offer a modern and convenient solution to meet the existing needs of the customers.
We offer a modern and convenient solution to meet the existing needs of the customers. We have no direct competitors for our solution, as there are no similar devices.
We have already done a lot, and we have a specific plan for the future.
We know the risks and we can achieve our goals. No doubt about that.
We strongly believe we can capture 4% of the global LMR market in 3 years or less. At the same time, we are going to branch out into some new areas. But that's a secret for now.
We believe: Our solutions will change the face of voice communications, making it more modern and convenient.
Thank you for your attention and welcome to the future of professional communications.
Any questions?
