最近はRasPi 4 も2台追加しました (１台はホームラボの温度通知⽤ with LINE Notify)。

ところでみなさま、
クラウドサービスのAWSはご存知かと思います。
そのAWSもVMwareベースのクラウドサービス
を提供しているのはご存知ですか︖
その名も、VMware Cloud on AWS です。
そのままんま、、巷ではVMC on AWSと略して呼称されることもっぽいです。

で、VMware Cloud on AWSって︖
オンプレとクラウドのそれぞれに強みを持つ両社が共同開発したクラウドサービスです。
Amazon EC2ベアメタルインスタンス上にVMware仮想環境が構築されています。

ブログもいっぱいあります
VMware、AWS両社の公式ブログでもたくさん投稿されています。
Qiitaでも検索すると200以上の記事がヒットします (2021/12/22時点)。

どうやったら連携できるの︖
いくつかホームラボとの連携案をご紹介します︕(もとい、私がやりたいことリスト。現在セットアップ中です..)
・AWS BackupでVMware仮想環境のバックアップ、リストア
・OVFテンプレートをExport / Importでお引っ越し
・ホームラボのVMをVMware HCXでお引っ越し
(VMware Cloud on AWSではHCX Enterpriseのライセンス機能が標準で利⽤できます)
