Using the tire tool (and
cheater pipe if you
have one) break loose
the lug nuts. If you
have a wheel lock lug
nut you will need the
key to loosen this nut.
Remember loosening

After breaking the lug
nuts loose raise the
car until the tire is off
the ground

the flat tire

Install the spare tire
the same way the flat
tire came off. Make
sure the air valve is
facing out towards you

Install the lug nuts and
screw on as far as
possible by hand

Lower vehicle down
until tire is contacting
the ground and wont
spin. Using the tire
tool tighten the lug
nuts (turning right).
Follow a star pattern
of tightening for 5 lug,
for 4 lug tighten

15. Step 13
If the spare is a
temporary tire
(doughnut) make sure
not to exceed the
speed limit for the tire.
It is stamped on the
tire and in the owners
manual.

Replace the hub cap.
Lower the jack all the
way to remove. Place
the flat tire, jack and
tools in the car.
