A new era in engineering education began on June 22, 2005 at the University of Calgary. The Schulich School of Engineering was founded through a $25-million donation philanthropist Seymour Schulich and a matching contribution of $25 million from the Government of Alberta, forever changing the future of engineering in Canada.
