6. CORRUPTION:
Giving or obtaining advantage
through means which are
immortal or inconsistent with
one’s duty or the rights of others.
7. There are mainly two types of Corruption:
Petty Corruption
Low-level ,small scale corruption
State Corruption
Grand Corruption, impacts whole country.
TYPES OF CORRUPTION:
8. Police and Law enforcement
Judiciary and Legal Profession
Power Sectors
Tax and Customs
Health and Education
Land Administration
MOST EFFECTED SECTORS:
10. In Pakistan, law enforcement is jointly carried out by
the federal and provincial police services and other law
enforcement agencies who form a chain leading from
investigation of suspected criminal activity to
administration of criminal punishment.
POLICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT:
13. The district courts in many cities look more like a
bazaar. There are lots of crowds and outdoor stalls. But
the merchants here are selling legal services – a man
taking affidavits, another copying documents for files. In
this chaotic maze of buildings and alleyways, to find the
actual courtrooms, look for the long lines, many people
are there which are waiting for his day in court. And
they are been waiting for a very long time.
JUDICIARY AND LEGAL PROFESSION:
15. The court system is really slow. Many people
come there but they get justice in five or six year.
That case should take maybe one year to resolve,
but here it take five or six years.
JUDICIARY AND LEGAL PROFESSION:
18. The countries biggest issue is presence of non uniform
educational system.
Poor Governance, Under qualified Faculty are some of the
reasons for their falling standards. Corruption in education sector
is not a novice in Pakistan , robbery of funds, Thousands of
ghost schools ( those that only exist in papers), taking bribe to
sell confidential material to candidates , Poor utilization of
funds, Educational Ministry run by illiterate politicians that lack
vision for education.
CORRUPTION IN EDUCATION:
21. The most active participants in corruption include four
colossal sectors of Pakistan:
Police
Judiciary
Tax and customs
Health and education
MOST ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN
CORRUPTION:
26. Energy is considered to be life line of any economy and most
vital instrument of socioeconomic development of a country.
ELECTRICITY LOAD-SHEDDING:
27. Pakistan’s energy infrastructure is not well developed,
rather it is considered to be underdeveloped and poorly
managed. Currently the country is facing severe energy
crisis. Despite of strong economic growth and rising
energy demand during past decade, no serious efforts
have been made to install new capacity of generation.
PAKISTAN’S ENERGY SECTORS:
30. Till about a few years ago, the word load shedding was only
used in terms of electricity shortfall. However now “gas” load
shedding has become just as common if not more, especially in
winters.
GAS LOAD-SHEDDING:
31. The past few years have seen an exponential rise in the non
availability of gas across the country resulting in extreme
inconvenience for everyone. Even making a simple chapatti has
become next to impossible and people have been forced to buy
gas cylinders. Some have even resorted to illegal methods like
installing motors on their stoves or heaters that suck all the gas
from neighbouring pipelines resulting in a very unbalanced
distribution, with some people left completely without any gas!
GAS LOAD-SHEDDING:
32.
33. The foremost problem world is facing today is unemployment.
The ratio of unemployment is increasing rapidly due to lack of
sources and when unemployment takes place so many crimes are
automatically be created.
Unemployment causes numerous problems for people of nation.
Pakistan has countless natural resources but problem is that
resources are being wasted since the independence of Pakistan in
1947.
The poverty rate is also on peak therefore uneducated and
unskilled people can be found easily in Pakistan.
UN-EMPLOYMENT:
34.
35. You may find many graduated, masters, IT experts, engineers
and doctors wandering about for job opportunities due to bad
employment system. The people of Pakistan are considered
highly talented and hardworking in the world and there is no
value of talent in Pakistan therefore, it is the reason many of
engineers, doctors, Scientifics, technicians and accountants
travel in foreign countries to earn the money.
Labour class is also affected by the unemployment. People have
become the patients of depression and they have no idea how to
deal depression during unemployment.
UN-EMPLOYMENT:
36. Increment in salaries
Anti-corruption Organizations
Awareness through Media and social networking sites
Strong Implementation
Vigorous Punishments.
HOW TO OVERCOME CORRUPTION:
