1. Fresco
• Fresco is the Italian term used to
describe murals made using a
specific technique which became
very popular in the renaissance
period. The fresco technique
consists of painting in pigment
mixed with water on a thin layer pf
plaster normally for the plaster to
dry it takes around 12-15 hours.
The pigment is then absorbed by
the wet plaster after a number of
hours; the plaster dries and reacts
with the air. When you use this
technique, to make your mural you
do your mural in sections.
