All facilities are required to be 100% in compliance
with HIPPA regulations. In order to meet this goal all
employees are required to take training courses .
Web Based Training
 Web based training requires the individual to
complete education modules as well as pass the exams.
 Employees are also required to provide their
certification to their supervisor at the conclusion of
training.
 Training can be completed in the work environment
during the employees shift.
Alternate Trainings
 Employees who are not comfortable with
computerized training modules are entitled to request
an alternate format.
 This will also require the employee to pass a written
exam of the material. Certification of training will be
provided to employees supervisor upon completion.
 Training can be completed in the work environment
during the employees shift.
Organizational Culture
 It is important for patients to feel as through their
information is secure and remains confidential.
 Through continuous training and refresher courses
employees can stay informed of the rapidly changing
face of electronic record keeping and privacy issues in
health care.
 Building a good reputation with employees and
patients will help to ensure the success of privacy
training.

 Questions can be relayed directly to supervisors or
staff in Human Resources.
