The location of your Open Day depends on which subjects you want to study. Events are based in different locations across our campuses, so you will need to plan which talks, tours and stands you want to attend or visit.
You will need to register when you arrive so that we can confirm your attendance and give you the Open Day Programme. The registration point you will go to will depend on the location of the subject you are interested in. Please ensure that you work out where you need to register to make your day easier for you.
Take a look at our travel information so that you can plan your journey. If you are travelling by car, parking is available at Irwell Place car park and Frederick Road car park. Open Day parking on our main campus is free.
Paid parking is available at MediaCityUK; we recommend visitors use the free parking facilities at Irwell Place or Frederick Road and use the Open Day Shuttle bus service to reach MediaCityUK.
Please note that some of the below information may be subject to change.

The University of Salford is situated just
a mile and a half from Manchester city
centre. Our main campus is just 1.6 miles
from MediaCityUK. There are excellent
transport links, with Salford Crescent
railway station on campus and regular
bus services. w
The Allerton Car Park will be open and
free of charge to Open Day visitors. If
you are going straight to MediaCityUK,
we recommend that you use public
transport or park at Allerton Car Park
and then take the bus service. Parking is
extremely limited at MediaCityUK, and a
charge will apply.
