1. Government agencies:- Infrastructure of government like the federal agencies along with
local goverement. It will include public radio, notifications on television etc
2. Non-Governmental organisations (NGOs) = They are non profit institutions which work for
betterment of society. They can help in educating people and providing disaster relief.
3. Volunteer Organisation: - They are just local groups which are formed in case of emergency.
The purpose is to supplement Government agencies
4. Military: - When the scale of disaster is large, Government can rope in military to help in
rescue operations as well to repair infrastructure.
5. First Responders: - First responders are generally Police, Fire personnel etc which are trained
to analyse situation and limit the extent of damage as well to rescue.
The responders are trained in crisis management. It includes from identification of risks, then
responding to risks, to planning and analysing risk management performance and framework.
Emergency workers should be properly trained so as to identify and response to emergency is
smooth.
