Music can affect animal behavior. The study investigated the effects of soft and hard music on cats, hamsters, rabbits, and fish. Soft music calmed the animals and made them relaxed or sleepy, while hard music agitated the animals and caused aggressive behaviors like scratching, biting, loud noises, and rapid swimming. The results supported the hypothesis that an animal's aggressiveness depends on the type of music it is exposed to.
