6. FEAR OF MISSING OUT
TREATMENT AND
PREVENTION.
. You can overcome FOMO by focusing on being
mindful, altering your habits, and working to be
more grateful for your own life.
Evaluate your FOMO sources.
Perhaps you are jealous of your friends for going
on vacation when you don't have the money to do
so, or maybe you feel envious when others get
married because you don't have a
partner. Work to make peace
with these circumstances and to
change them if you can.

8. Deactivate your social media
account
Social media has been found to cause
feelings of depression because it shows a
filtered version of life. This contributes to
feelings of FOMO.
Don’t say anything
online that you
wouldn’t want
plastered on a
billboard with your
face on it

9. Meditate daily and do YOGA
You can start meditating by focusing on a
certain word or phrase like “gratefulness” or
“I have a good life.”
You can also meditate on a nice, quiet walk
after dinner.
Yoga functions like
a self-soothing
technique in that it
alters the stress
response system,
helping to “tame”
and quiet down the
nervous system

11. The phobia part of the
term can be a little
misleading, as phobia
can suggest that you
are scared to be
without it. However,
doctors believe that it is
more of an anxiety disorder.
People who suffer
heavily with
nomophobia can
actually feel lonely
without their
phones, they have an
attachment to it that
equates to a loved one/partner. This can lead people
to isolate themselves from real company and can
even make them feel depressed without their
phones which is becoming very common these days.

their time when they are free
and bore by watching
something on phone, chatting
and reading and eat up
wasting several hours on
mobile phone.
These were some of the reasons why people suffer
from nomophobia and the bitter reality is many of them
are unable to realize that they are going through it.
Its high time that we should stop wasting our precious
times on mobile phones and use it for better purpose.
