3. The Hitler youth was a youth group that idolized
Adolf Hitler. They followed all of the Nazi ways of
life, such as being part of the “Master Race”, also
known as the “Aryan Race”. In Germany the Hitler
Youth was called“Hitlerjugend”. The motto for this
horrible cult was “Blut und Ehre” which translates
to “Blood and Honor.”
4. But, on April 30, 1945 Hitler’s reign came to
an end when his death was reported. The
Nazi’s said that Adolf died on the battlefield,
while defending his country form the
Russians, but the Russians said that he had
committed suicide. No one will ever be sure,
though.
In World War 2,approximately over 60
million people were killed, which was
over 2.5% of the world population.
