2. 1st Image
This is the first image I took I have chosen the
shot of the image to be a mid shot and eye level
this is so audiences will be looking directly at her
and wonder why her face is hidden, this adds
curiosity and they will be able to relate to her as
she won’t look dominate, and weak but a normal
character like the intended target audience.
I didn’t choose this image because it doesn’t fit
in with the background the arms will be cut off
when I attempt to cut out the background, also I
think the attention is drawn mostly to her
hoodie, the image seems a bit too stretched out
to me and will look disproportional on the film
poster.
The mise-en-scene of the image is black
because black connotes mystery as well as
danger, it draws the audiences as why is
she in black to blend in a be hidden.
These lines show where the audiences
eyes would first attract on the image and
this doesn’t fit as a lot of the attention
would be in her body.
3. 2nd Image
I didn’t choose this image either because
her head is too low down, you can barely
see the bottom half of her face, and again
if you were to cut out the background her
arms would again be cut off. It will give no
connotations and the audience wont be
able to hardly relate to her as they can see
the expression from her lips.
This image is also eye level, mid shot I plan to
take all my images like that because its easier
for the audience to look at on the poster and
it will be the first thing they see and will
recognise her from the trailer as she is
dressed in the same clothing from the trailer.
The mise-en-scene of the image is black
because black connotes mystery as well as
danger, it draws the audiences as why is
she in black to blend in a be hidden.
These lines show where the audiences
eyes would first attract on the image and
this doesn’t fit as a lot of the attention
would be in her body and they would be
irritated that they can’t see her face.
4. Chosen Image
This image , will fit on my poster
very well none of the arms will be
This the image I decided to
cut off, it all looks in place and
choose for my film poster, it is
matches the dark background
once again eye level, and a mid
because of the colour of her
shot this easy for the audience to
clothing as well.
see her, compared to the previous
images you can see more of the
bottom of her face and she her
torso isn’t so stretched out , this
image makes me feel like I am
staring right at her and wondering
These lines show where the
why her face is covered up.
audiences eyes would first attract
on the image and this fits perfectly
The mise-en-scene of the image is as they would capture all the
black because black connotes elements of the image.
mystery as well as danger, it draws
the audiences as why is she in black
to blend in a be hidden.
