 Currently in my 2nd year at Lake Zurich Middle
School North.

 Teachers will log in and set up their Moodle.
 Teachers will demonstrate how to use
Moodle as a way to communicate with their
students.

5. WHAT IS A MOODLE
 “Moodle is an Open Source Course Management
System (CMS), also known as a Learning
Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning
Environment (VLE)” (retrieved from
http://moodle.org/about/).
 Is great for creating discussion boards.
 Can use for creating online quizzes.

Please see email with links to
various teachers in the district
who use Moodle.

7. LETS LOG IN
o Please second email with log in account name and
password.
o Click link to access to Moodle.
o Enter your username.
o Enter provided password.
o If you wish to change your password, you may do
so by clicking on personal settings.

8. 15 MINUTE BREAK
 At this time, please feel free to take a 15 minute
break.
 Before the time is up please fill out the survey
provided in your email.

9. HANDS ON PORTION
 Now you will work on your own Moodle.
