1. “The Changing Phase of Education in
Relation with the Information
Communication Technology”
The information age of digital society is an explosion of
fax machine, e-mail, voice mail, cellular phones, pagers, cables, satellite communication,
and the uleiquitous and computer sciences and text messaging. All of these can be related
to education. But, in what way? That’s the point we have to discuss for.
The role of technology in human communication of a decade from now won’t
be receiving or writing letters anymore. E-mail greetings with dancing graphics and
sound effects will make letters absolute. So it means that we have reached the
information age. The new information will bring drastic changes in the way government,
business, and education. And home works. Advances in these sectors will bring
improvements and productivity. As a prior condition of education to the people, by
means of construction and industry our community will have a personality of its own and
be worthy of its liberties.
The knowledge and understanding should be posses by every individual, the
habits and skills should be required and the appreciations, attitudes and values must
display point the way to communicate with the technology that should be availed of the
learning process.
New innovative technology has free man from long hours of work. Leisure is
the unhurried, pleasurable part of living. It is the time when one can satisfy his interest
and engage in voluntary activities. More leisure hours have created the need for new form
of recreation. Recreation is any activity, which brings release from the burdens and
anxieties that, accompany work, and results in “recreated” or renewed energy and
restored physical and mental well-being.
As a pioneer in Information Communication technology, it enhanced
education and having helped countless educationists, and continues on its mission of
showing the way to the nations future. For me, computer institute should held every year
is just one of the measures the leader in computer education takes in ensuring that its
students learn about the latest trends and developments in ICT. As the entourage went on
from city to city and from province to province, more and more students became
enlightened, presenting them with a clear out image of their future, one that is bright, full
of beauty, and one that is perfect.
