RATIONALE
As human being we are always attach with lot of essential things in everyday life. Jobs,
education, retailing, banking these are the compulsory things we need to do. It was very hard to
get in touch with these before technology changed our ways to live and made it easier for us. It
has contributed a lot to exchange our life activities such as from writing a letter which could take
one month to arrive to the receiver rather than writing an email which can be received by the
receiver in just one minute, and from searching information in the books which can take longer
time to finish rather than searching in the internet which can take faster and easier. Sticking with
the book for whole day can be very tiring for the students but thanks to IT which can introduce
us to an innovative way of studying for us to learn more and productive for better future.
According to Tim Unwin "Information and communication technologies for
development (ICT4D) refers to the application of information and communication technologies
(ICTs) toward social, economic, and political development with a particular emphasis on helping
poor and marginalized people and communities. As what Tim said ICT played a great role to
each and everyone especially to those people who do not have the capability to avail and apply
ICT to their day to day life and ICT also has a specific role and this is to help humans activities
to be easier and productive. They also recognized ICT as an important vehicle to address global
development challenges.
IT people give us a solution to our daily activities to be easy to do with. They introduce to
us the innovative and advanced solution and it is the Information and communication
technology. They give us this solution in order for us to cope with this advancing world but the
biggest question is, are we people really uses ICT accordingly to fits the wants and need of
everyone?

ICT IN THE CONTEXT OF OUR LIVES
In our life we are always engage in different activities such as communicating, knowing
updated information, reading, cooking, cleaning and etc. Knowing that these activities we do, we
always we want it to be done in easiest way and faster and through the use of technology
specifically the ICT all we wish and wanted for was been achieved. Like in communicating we
applied ICT always to make it easier to communicate to others such as sending a message or
calls to other places especially in international and through the use of internet and
computers/loptops we communicate with them faster, efficient and effectively.
As a student and being a human belong to this era which is innovative and advancing
era, the ICT also contributed a lot in my life it makes my studies to be more productive and
effective. The use of ICT in my or our education it added more value in our learnings by
enhancing the effectiveness of learning like searching information in the internet which is liable
for us to read which is not available on the past years. ICT also is one of the significant
motivational factor for a students learning because through ICT the projects or outputs,
assignments, needed information, knowing the words and any activities in school can be done
easier, efficient and effectively for better production and development.
ICT has become an integral part of everyday life for many people. It increases its
importance to each life of many people and this advanced technology is expected to continue to
the extent that ICT literacy will become a functional requirement for people's work, social
education and personal lives. So through this asvanced ICT everyone of us is expected to be
more inspired to do the daily activities in easiest way to be more productive and people as we
are can appreciate life heartedly and faithfully.
ICT IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIETY
According to C. Perez Information and communication technology (ICT) is basically our
society's efforts to teach its current and emerging citizens in valuable knowledge and skills
around computing and communications devices; software that operates them, applications that
run on them and systems that are built with them. As what C. Perez said it is necessary for a
society to teach its citizen into the new innovative advanced technology and by teaching the
citizen such knowledge and skills our society will improved into productive and developing more
as a globalized and innovative world.
ICT also contributed immensely to social and economic improvement such as higher
employment and productivity. Through ICT our society was been improved, it helps to adopt in
this advancing world. Our society always need an information to work on but in the past years
people of the society was been experienced how hard to get an information for them to work in
society unlike today we are given the easiest way of getting information and this is through ICT.
ICT has a lot of positive outcomes such as improved access for communities in rural or
remotes areas, real-time disease surveillance, data sharing, data capture, interpretation and
management. By the use of ICT in our society it can help us especially our government to apply

any method of ICT for developing country to socialize others for the sake of globalization and
development.
ICT IN THE CONTEXT OF PROFESSIONAL TRACKS
Everyone of us especially to those who are working has each professional track. ICT
also plays a great role in our professional tracks. As we work everyday we want to be done it in
easiest way and resulting it into good a quality but how we can do it? Through the use of ICT all
of the things we want or to be done easier can be achieved effectively.
As a student who is in the track of Accountancy Business and Management, ICT helps
my studies to be more effective, productive and easier. Like in accounting in which their is a
software that can do accounting effectively and in easiest way which can take short time to do
without mistake and uncertainty rather than hand on hand working in accounting.
For those who are working or having their professional track already ICT also helping
their work to be done in an easiest way. Such as in showbiz track, the director, actor or
actresses and the staff will not be tiring to do their works because through ICT it helps them to
work and edit their movie faster and easier. And for other track ICT also helping them to do their
works and it help them to be effective employer and to achieve high quality standard in their
lives.
CONCLUSION
As a matter of fact, we are living in a constanatly evolving digital world. Information and
communication technology or ICT has an impact on every aspect of our lives: from working to
socializing, learning to playing and studying to applying.
As we woke up each day the first thing we want to do is to face social media to be
updated with the latest information. In our lives, society and to each professional tracks all we
want is to work with our daily activities in easiest way and ICT can make it. Without ICT our
work will not be achieve efficiently and effectively because every time we work we want it to be
done correctly and properly with the use of a device that can help to assured the righteousness
of the work.
ICT contributed meaningfully to us, it makes our work to be done easier, in a good
quality and effective. So as a human being belong to this era which is advanced ICT is
necessary for us to work with and a partner. And ICT has its positive outcome that can help us
to be more productive and it feels like we are lucky enough belong to this era for it really help us
to contribute meaningfully to our country for the sake of globalization and in our development
especially for ourselves.
