THE COUNTDOWN FOR THE YEAR OF THE HORSE
BEGINS IN SOLAIRE FOR POPS AND JOEY G!

2013 is almost at an end but 'initial fireworks' commences early as Solaire
proudly presents two of pop music's greatest icons Pops Fernandez and Joey
Generoso of Side A together in a show aggressively planned to usher in 2014
with a bang!
Aptly titled Toast, the New Year's Eve event will be a chain of extravaganzas
happening all at the same time.
Already billed as this yearend's most exciting event concept, Toast is
audiovisual overload exemplified according to Solaire event planners. All that and
more while awaiting for the main event that unravels exactly at midnight of
countdown proper with Pops and Joey G.
Interestingly, Toast is also a convergence of notable 'firsts' for Solaire and the
performers themselves.
Let it be known that this will be Solaire's first New Year's Eve Event of this
magnitude for 2013, and the first for Pops and Joey sharing a stage for one
spectacular concert adventure.
Adding icing to the cake, Solaire will also be utilizing state-of-the-art
audiovisual tech 'oomph' to the ballroom foyer and the Solaire Grand Ballroom
independently to give Solaire revelers that pulsating party experience.
Music and entertainment won't be a problem either as bands Marmalade and
Puresounds will be playing two sets to while the time away before Pops and
Joey G. mounts the stage.
But here's the clincher, the show's back-up accompaniment won't be canned
music, instead it will be a consummate concert/party experience with no less
than an 8-piece live band playing back-up to both concert stars as they groove to
contemporary and retro dance music from different eras and more.
Stage design will be no ordinary outing as well.
(Solaire swore not to be so complacent on this one.)
They will figuratively let loose of the big guns with an elaborate concert stage
armed with 'never-before-seen' 3-dimensional projections and mapping effects.
In short, the music and performances will be a spectacle to behold as technology
and unrivalled showmanship and artistry combine to whet the appetite of the
concert-phile in you!
Surely, Pops and Joey will be as life-size as their music with all the spectacle
going on.
The revelers will not be left out as well. Case in point: If you happen to be in the
vicinity of Solaire, revelers automatically become part of the show with broadcast
captures from all over the building's activity areas beamed at LED screens
strategically set up around the building as the countdown commences.

2. We don't want to spoil the whole fun with spoilers but if you do want a kick for
your new year's eve party happening, it will be an opportune time to celebrate it
with Pops and Joey.
