OPEC was created on September 10th
through the 14th in 1960 at the Baghdad
Conference
In OPEC’s first five years of exsisence
it’s headquarters was located in
Gevena, Switzerland.
On September 1st 1965 OPEC’s
headquarters was moved to Vienna,
Austria.
3. Objectives
OPEC’s main objective is to organize
and unify petroleum policies among
member countries, in order to secure fair
and stable prices for petroleum
producers.
They control the effiecent, economic
supply of petroleum to the consuming
nations.
