The camera pans through the favela in the scorching sun.
The slum is completely deserted. The game’s main character
– Rico – narrates.
RICO
(cynically)
There is no justice here. It is a thing of the past. This
isn’t a game, that time has gone. This is reality. You
could be killed fighting this cause. Are you ready to join?
Rico walks into the center of the screen and turns to face
and speak into the camera as he says “…Are you ready to
join?”
The screen cuts to a black screen showing simply the title
‘SHANTY TOWN’ and ‘COMING SOON ONLY ON TWINE’.
