3. GOAL
• GOALS ARE DREAMS WITH A DEADLINE
AND ACTION PLAN
DIRECTION
DEDICATION
DETERMINATION
DISCIPLINE
DEADLINES
4. WHY PEOPLE FAIL TO SET GOALS
Pessimistic attitude
Fear of failure
Lack of ambition
Fear of rejection
Procrastination
Low self-esteem
Ignorance of importance of setting goals
Lack of knowledge about goal setting
7. WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS!!!
Goals can be:
1. short-term--up to one year.
2. mid-term--up to three years.
3. long-term--up to five years.
Goals can be longer than five
years but then they become a
purpose of life. Goals are more
easily achieved if
they are broken into small ones.

21. 0-40
Concentration sharpens ones ability to acquire knowledge, think
and reflect profoundly.
It is imperative that you start working on your concentration. It is a
tool, which helps a person to logically comprehend things, and
takes one to infinite wisdom.
A conscious effort is the only way which helps one in overcoming
lack of concentration. Consider spending more time on your work
especially anything theoretical with the intention of sitting for at
least 30 minutes.
In your free time start doing calculations mentally and ensure you
keep yourself busy all the time with a particular task in hand.
Consider meditating every day for at least 15 minutes.
22. 45-80
Your concentration level is good but it is confined to
the things of immense interest to you.
This makes you feel at times sharp and at other
times restless. Please don’t get complacent with
your level of concentration rather start spending
more time on the task and do this gradually, for
instance if you are spending 40 minutes on a task
start spending 45 minutes.
Your body and mind may resist however
concentrate for those extra 5 minutes. However
once you are able to sit for stipulated time you
would see a phenomenal progress in your
concentration in just three months.
23. 85-120
• Congratulations, you are very few of those in this
dynamic world who can religiously focus despite
several distractions around.
• You know, the art of concentration and
expectantly aware of the power behind it. You are
one of those who would like to search intensively
and explore every detail.
• up the good work and you shall keep gaining
knowledge at a rocket speed. Similarly, start also
concentrating on things which you don’t have
much interest in and you would not only see your
power of concentration progress but you will also
start getting interested in them.
28. CONCLUSION
1. President of the largest
steel company, Charles
Schwab, lived on
borrowed capital for
five years before he died
bankrupt.
2. President of the largest
gas company, Howard
Hubon, went insane.
• What they forgot was how to
make a life! It is stories like this
that give the readers the false
impression that money is the
root of all evil. That is not true.
Money provides food for the
hungry, medicine for the sick,
clothes for the needy. Money is
only a medium of exchange.
• We need two kinds of
education. One that teaches us
how to make a living and one
that teaches us how to live.
