2. I met the Lord, the crowds pressed hard and cruel, I touched his robe, and I was healed, then he to me the truth revealed: 'It is your faith that made you whole.'
3. I met the Lord, gave him the food I had, my loaves and fish, I had no more, yet what I gave, though plain and poor, he took and blessed, and all were fed.
4. We met the Lord, a stranger on our way, who spoke of things we did not know and then, by bread and wine, did show our wayward eyes that it was he.
5. I met the Lord, the Lord I so reviled; I went, Damascus drawing near, a dazzling light, a blinding fear, then it was Christ, and love prevailed.
6. We meet the Lord when self defers to soul, when sense looks out beyond the known and walks by faith to Christ alone who calls us now to be made whole.
