The Environment: Our Future
Reports from the U.N. have pushed the focus of the international community to the pressing issue of
climate changes due to Global Warming. Scientists have proclaimed that the warning signs of global
warming are unequivocal. It was concluded that global warming is most likely man–made, and its
effect will impact the world for centuries.
Global warming is basically the increased in temperature of the Earth. Human activities are said to
be the main causes of this phenomenon. For example, we produced excessive carbon dioxide when
burning fuels to produce energy since Industrial Revolution. The large emission of greenhouse gases
such as carbon dioxide is one of the culprits trapping the heat on Earth, and raising global
temperatures.
The...show more content...
The world would not be able to withstand this change in temperature. The last Ice Age was only
about 3oC lower than our current temperature. This is how serious our situation are, and we are all
to be taking this information seriously and give it our best shot to reduce the effect of global
warming.
In order to do so, we must reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. We can always turn to using
renewable energies, like wind, nuclear and solar energy. Though this are not things that we, citizens,
can decide on. However, there are definitely things which all of us could do to put in an effort to
reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in.
When travelling, the main aim is to reduce number of vehicles on the road because travelling
vehicles produce carbon monoxide, which is a greenhouse gas. Studies have shown that eight out of
every ten vehicles on the road are private cars, thus I urge all drivers to consider taking public
transport, instead of personal vehicles. For shorter distance travelling, we can always bike or walk
the short distance. For those who do not need to use a car that often, try car–sharing, where a group
of people will own a car and take turns driving it.For drivers, you should always plan your
journeys so that you will take a lesser period of time to get to your destination. This will save petrol
and prevent unnecessary driving. Drivers should also consider buying hybrid cars instead of

My Future Essay
My future is something I often think about. Most often, the questions that arise include the
common doubts of "Am I doing this right?", or even the occasional midnight philosophical
questions such as "Why are we here?", and so on. For the purpose of this essay, I will focus on the
factors that have allowed me to reach this point in my life and how these factors influenced and
continue to influence me, in order to provide me with a visualization of my future.
Factors that contributed to my current life choices include the desperate want to be something
greater, as well as to experience the world in ways some could only dream of. I study hard,
allowing for me to have the possibility of an early graduation. I dream big, allowing me with the
imagination to draw up plans for myself and my future. I work hard, allowing me the strength and
vision to execute my plans for the future. The way that I was raised has greatly benefited me. My
parents have taught me that anything and everything is possible as long as you work hard for it
despite the what others may tell you or even if the odds are against you. Another factor that led to
my current life, is the amount of time I allow myself to think about my plans and refine them. This is
extremely important because, without a solid, flexible, long–term plan, you could get lost in
dreaming about the future, and end up not accomplishing anything. Hence, many aspects of my life
have been planned out with not one or two possible alternatives

What Do We Expect Our Future? Essay
What do we expect our future to hold? What are we going to become? These are the human
questions being answered by the various fields of anthropology. The only way we can determine
our future is to look at the past and see how we came to be, and how quickly. Our ability to innovate
and create is common knowledge, but the speed at which we can develop technologies in
unfathomable. As Americans our influencedculture dates back to the Greeks, so to learn about
ourselves we must learn from what we came from. The goal of looking into the past is not just to
learn about humans, but to learn how we can achieve more knowledge by preserving the past.
Archeological sites need to be protected and how we do that has been influenced in Thessaly,
Greece. The preservation of all archaeological sites allows us knowledge yes, but it is the ability to
compare sites to see which cultures influenced the development of other cultures is the new way to
learn about ourselves. The area on to start with is Halos. This area is in South–East part of Thessaly,
and like other parts of the region has been a great source to learn about ancient Greece.
"The first tumulus (Tumulus E) was excavated in 1899 by the local archaeological society 'Othrys'"
(Georganis, 291). Another site was discovered in the region by Wace and Thompson in 1912.
According to Vouzaxakis: "The Neolithic period in Thessaly
(Greece) was first studied at the beginning of the 20th century by Tsountas (1908). Since

My Future Plans For The Future
Imagine the perfect life, the perfect family, dream house, dream car, and the perfect career. That's
what I hope someday my life will be like. Everyone has a future plan, to make the best out of our
life, what is your plan? My future plan is to be a pediatrician. I would like to help the children of
the future. They are the next generation and I would like to leave a legacy for them to follow. I
want to help save and make a child happy someday. The thought of making a difference in
someone's life is the reason I can go to sleep peacefully. We all have a purpose for being here and I
my purpose is to save one of us, my purpose is to help the ones in need, the ones in the street
begging for somewhere to live, the ones dying of poverty. However, right now in the 21st century
technology has taken over the world, not figuratively but literally. It made the world, both a bad
and good place. People are going to run out of jobs and tech will run the world. Technology will
be the greatest invention of human kind but how will it affect some of us? First to begin with,
Technology is part of our everyday lives. Every nook, every corner we turn there is someone with
technology. In doing research it says technology is advancing so fast that it will be a thousand times
more advanced in the next 10 years. From having no technology in the 1900s we are currently
flourishing with technology every day, in our house there is at least 10 different items that are
connected to the internet. To

Outline Reflecting on My Past, Present, and Future
Thesis Statement: Our past creates the foundation that brings us to our present. Throughout life we
are faced with choices. Those choices determine what road we travel. The past cannot be changed,
only learned from. What we choose to do with those lessons will determine how we live our present
and by our choices within our present we can go anywhere we want to with our future. The choice is
ours to make.

I started out in a sales position with the goal of owning my own business and within a few years I
was the owner of a lucrative cleaning company which afforded me the flexible schedule I desired
and the income I needed to maintain the lifestyle I wanted. I never forgot what the most
important things in life were even through my success. It's not what we become on the outside for
those are things that are fleeting; it is what we are within ourselves that lasts a lifetime. I say that
because things and people can be taken from us. The strength within will keep us going even
when our world is falling apart. I married in June of 1984 and had my first son January of 1987.
Life was good and it seemed like nothing could ever make that feeling disappear. I was grateful
for my family and enjoyed the life we had. But just as I stated earlier that which is on the outside
is fleeting, I experienced that first hand when I suffered through the death of my husband. I found
myself alone, feeling abandoned and responsible for the life of my young son and not knowing
what to do. I wish that on no one. I am grateful for the family I have for they were my strength
when I had none left and they were my encouragement when I thought I had nothing left to give. I
spoke of choices earlier and I faced a huge choice at that time in my life. I could have given up,

What the world needs now is for the parents of today's children to step up and teach their children
to be respectful, caring, and compassionate children, which will one day turn into adults. One of
the problems is the laws on child abuse and the way children are raised today, compared the way
children are raised today to thirty years ago or even before that, is not the same. Kids today have
little or no respect for their elders, teachers, or even law enforcement. I would have never talked to
any adult the way some of these children today talk to the adults in their life's. These are the same
children that are our future. Part...show more content...
This is causing the children of today our future of tomorrow to run rapid, so as our children are
becoming young adults, they need to learn to be respectful and courteous to the adults and the
world around them. Which is a hard thing for parents to install in their children these days, due to
once they go off to school they are faced with many hard decisions in which they need to make
without the help or guidance of their parents. Yes when we were their age we had to face the same,
but it was different back then children just knew if they did wrong their parents would find out and
they'd be grounded or get the belt. While children now days know that the worst thing that can
happen to them is they might get grounded. In the research I have found most people including most
children agree that spanking is ok if it is used as discipline and not just because you enjoy hitting
your children. Some children even believe that children who don't get spanked have less respect for
their parents and other adults in the long wrong. Many generations used corporal punishment as
discipline tool, not as abuse and the majority of those people grew up as happy productive adults.
Some even believe that yelling or not punishing children cause more damage and we all know that
grounding children don't work due to they always have some reason to be out of the house either
school or after school

My Future Essay
Every since I was a young girl I have been always asked by, what do you wanna be when you grow
up? I know some people that change their minds every week of what their future hold for them and
how they are gonna live through it. The future is changing every second of our lives, everything
single thing that we do affects what our future hold for us. All my life I have been determined on
one thing in my life. I have always wanted to become a doctor no matter what. I know that there is
nothing that is gonna change my mind about that. Technology has helped many people with what
they do at their job, however it has also harmed their jobs also. All my life I have been in and out of
hospitals. Every since I was born I had some problems that I had to face. Thanks to all the doctors
that were there for me, that helped me become the girl that stands today, I get to live my life in
peace. I had told myself from that day forward that I was gonna become a doctor or a nurse and help
as many people as I can. I have always loved to help people in need. I hope that one day that I can
save someone's life as someone saved mine.If I had to pick one role model that I looked up to ,I
couldn't. That is because I admire and idolize every single nurse and doctor there is in this world
that help keep people alive and safe every single day.
I want to do many things in my future. As well as being a doctor who helps people, I want to live

Children Of The World Are Our Future Essay
Brooke Graham
The children of the world are our future. Children make up about 26% of the worlds population
("Population ages of 0–14," n.d.). The children may not make up an over powering section of our
population, but they are the individuals that are going to be creating the future of this world. Plenty
of laws are in place to protect human rights, including those of children. Just because laws are in
place does not mean that they are followed, and those that violate them pay the price. Those that pay
the price of human right violations are the victims themselves, especially the future of this world,
children. Globalization of human rights, and the violence and inequalities that children face; as well
as crimes committed by the powerful, and the lack of global justice for these children are themes of
struggles that children whose human rights are violated face. Human Rights and the globalization of
these rights should extend to every individual in the world as they are stated in many documents, but
many individuals still suffer, especially children. Article two of the Declaration of Human Rights
states that "Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without
distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion,
national or social origin, property, birth or other status"(Universal Declaration of Human Rights).
This article clearly states that no matter where you come from or what you

My Future Essay: My Vision Of The World
Life sometimes seems scary. The fear of failure and the fear of the unknown make a person rethink
its choices and goals, this happens all the time. As time passes, be days, moths, years or only simply
one experience can change our whole vision of the world, about life, about what really matters and
consequently about our goals. Throughout my whole life I have questioned so many aspects of my
life, of existence, and consequently about my future. I never stopped wanting to achieve something
big, that could change the whole world, some amazing adventure that would be the one thing that
would give birth to all the amazing things that could happen next. As time passed I realized that
life itself is one big adventure, and that what I will do every day will matter for me and for the
people around me. I realized that life is not some perfect movie where there are good guys, bad
guys and that in the end of one amazing journey everything would be solved. It may be a childish
vision of the world, but it had motivated me for years to do the thing I believed would help me
achieve this, and to believe in myself. Obviously as I grew up, I saw what the world really looked
like, that sacrifices have to be made, that there are things which no one can control, that if I want
something I have to work really hard. In today society everything counts....show more content...

Children Are The Future Of The World Essay
Children are the future of the world. They are going to be the leaders of tomorrow and are going
to make choices that will directly affect our generation. Children are pliable, so it 's up to us to
mold them well and send them in the right direction. However, who specifically is going to mold
these children? At six to eight hours a day, five days a week, teachers are positioned to become one
of the most influential people in a child's life. After their parents, children will first learn from their
teachers. Jerusha Connor, an education professor at Villanova University, said "Ample qualitative
research shows that a single teacher can shape the course of a young person's future, for better or
worse,". ( citation) Teachers have a massive influence on children, which is why they are so
important. Anyone who can read, write or solve an equation has a teacher to thank. So much of
what we know about the world comes from our teachers who equipped us with knowledge, skills and
wisdom.
Almost everyone has been impacted or influenced by a teacher they 've had in their lifetime.
Teachers are important due to their influential positions early in a child 's life and they obviously
influence the curriculum the students are learning and how they learn it. They also influence
children by creating strong relationships. Because they possess this great power to guide and mold,
they can impact how much students will learn. In a 2012 study The RAND Corporation, a leading

How Will Our Future Be? Essay
How Will Our Future Be?
The way the future is heading seems to be very clear but as before things may change. The time to
come will never reveal itself until it has actually been.
From this point of view I will try to describe the way I see the future coming our way.
One of the major aspects when discussing the future is how will the law be handled and how power
will be dealt with. Will we be able to decide for us self what we want to do with our lives and will
the right of every individual be respected, as written in the constitution. There is no way I could be
forced to believe otherwise. Our society today is made to decide if every citizen in

The future is always on the mind. Where would I be in ten years? What do I see myself doing

How Does History Changed Our Future?
If you ask a random student in an average American school to tell you their least favorite subject in
school, you are probably going to get a lot of "history". I say that this is because students just are
not interested in History today, they have the mindset "they're all dead anyway". I say that this is
problem can easily be solved by just, simply, having history teachers update their techniques of
teaching this fascinating subject in favor of more interactive ones, like plays acting out famous
battles such as the Battle of Gettysburg. In seeing history come alive, students will more likely see
the impact that history has on our future.
Teaching itself goes back all the way to between 3000 and 500 B.C.E. in Ancient Egypt. At that

teaching was achieved in a formal educational setting. However, all of this shifted with the Greeks.
The first teacher in history was Confucius (561 B.C.). He was born into an honorable family, that
had fallen on bad times, and because of this, he had no chance of being educated himself, sadly.
However, he got a job and this eventually got a job which gained a reputation for his determination
and thirst for knowledge. When he became a teacher, he took any student who were eager to learn.
He taught regular subjects along with his personal wisdom for developing responsibility and moral
character through discipline and regular subjects. This could have lead to the creation of his teaching
as a philosophy, which is called Confucianism.
In colonial America, the majority of teachers were men. In the 1830s, Common School started. This
is considered the precursor for today's public school. This method was proposed by education
reformer Horace Mann. Instead of being funded by the church, schools using this method were
funded by taxes. They instilled a common and social philosophy of

By definition, education is "the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a
school or a university; an enlightening experience". A philosophy of education is a set of beliefs
about how children develop and learn and what they should and how they should be taught. In my
own personal opinion, the above definition is exactly what education should be – an enlightening
experience. In our culture today, there is a huge emphasis on education. Education is the foundation

Firstly, the teacher can be seen as the guider within the classroom. The teacher is to work as the
guiding hand, almost using their skills and knowledge to push their students towards motivation
and betterment of their academic lives. The guidance of a teacher allows the educator to be
readily available whenever a student may need them. A teacher should also act almost as a
cheerleader to her students. Personally, in my future classroom, I want to be the one who is
motivating a child to learn. I want to be their biggest fan. Without the support of a teacher, the
students may feel that they can slack off or take advantage of the way I may be teaching. I want
to let each student know each and every one of them could be the smartest kid in the class. For this
reason, I will try and stray away from the common practice found in classrooms today, otherwise
known as grouping. Our textbook defines grouping as "the act of grouping students together
according to their similarities" (Oakes, 303). The book describes grouping as an ineffective and
inefficient way to separate students. As a result of this, I find that grouping can lead to
discrimination in the classroom, something I hope never happens within my own personal
classroom. Each student, as their personal cheerleader, will know that no matter who they are, they
too can achieve

Our Students Are Our Future
Our students are our future. Our alumni will eventually run our nation and they are what our world
will come to depend on. It is our job to successfully teach them and equip them with the skills they
need to live successful lives and teach their future generations. Currently we are not completely
fulfilling our responsibility. Many of us only see the problem in our teachers, but it 's not totally
their fault. Our entire system is corrupt, from the standardized tests to the curriculum. The system
simply does not work for all types of people.
Many people believe teachers to be like day care workers with extra education: they watch our kids,
keep them safe and out of trouble, and as a bonus: they teach them valuable things instead of putting
them in front of a T.V. or game console. Imagine paying the average educator three dollars an hour
per child for the amount of time they watch them in a school day. Assuming there are thirty children
in a class, annually that would equal over one hundred thousand dollars. Due to the fact that
furthering your education increases your value to an institution, we should pay the teachers that
have earned master's degrees and/or have special ED training minimum wage. That would be eight
dollars per child, so their annual wage would come to a little under three hundred thousand dollars.
Reality isn't so bequeathing and our teachers are only earning an average of fifty thousand dollars
per year. We get what we pay for, and we are not investing

Our fathers founded this nation with the belief in freedom, liberty, justice, equality, and individual
responsibility. These are just some of the values and principles that have withstood the test of time
and continue to inspire people to this day. They have gotten us through many wars, civil struggles,
and ecomonic tragedies and we risen out of the crisis stronger over and over. When nations fell
into freefall and spun out of control we have been there to supply for their needs in both military,
humanitarian, and economic ways. Our free enterprise system has proven to work countless times,
and we have advanced our ways of caring for those in need. But even with these values in place,
there are some that still try to thwart the foundation we were built on and place government ahead of
the people. These actions started the same war that created this nation. We must not allow our
elected superiors to believe that they can put our future at risk to accomplish their agendas. To the
ones that have forgotten this, we will remind by telling them what we believe. At this present

Our Future Essay

  • 1. The Environment: Our Future Reports from the U.N. have pushed the focus of the international community to the pressing issue of climate changes due to Global Warming. Scientists have proclaimed that the warning signs of global warming are unequivocal. It was concluded that global warming is most likely man–made, and its effect will impact the world for centuries. Global warming is basically the increased in temperature of the Earth. Human activities are said to be the main causes of this phenomenon. For example, we produced excessive carbon dioxide when burning fuels to produce energy since Industrial Revolution. The large emission of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide is one of the culprits trapping the heat on Earth, and raising global temperatures. The...show more content... The world would not be able to withstand this change in temperature. The last Ice Age was only about 3oC lower than our current temperature. This is how serious our situation are, and we are all to be taking this information seriously and give it our best shot to reduce the effect of global warming. In order to do so, we must reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. We can always turn to using renewable energies, like wind, nuclear and solar energy. Though this are not things that we, citizens, can decide on. However, there are definitely things which all of us could do to put in an effort to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in. When travelling, the main aim is to reduce number of vehicles on the road because travelling vehicles produce carbon monoxide, which is a greenhouse gas. Studies have shown that eight out of every ten vehicles on the road are private cars, thus I urge all drivers to consider taking public transport, instead of personal vehicles. For shorter distance travelling, we can always bike or walk the short distance. For those who do not need to use a car that often, try car–sharing, where a group of people will own a car and take turns driving it.For drivers, you should always plan your journeys so that you will take a lesser period of time to get to your destination. This will save petrol and prevent unnecessary driving. Drivers should also consider buying hybrid cars instead of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Future Essay My future is something I often think about. Most often, the questions that arise include the common doubts of "Am I doing this right?", or even the occasional midnight philosophical questions such as "Why are we here?", and so on. For the purpose of this essay, I will focus on the factors that have allowed me to reach this point in my life and how these factors influenced and continue to influence me, in order to provide me with a visualization of my future. Factors that contributed to my current life choices include the desperate want to be something greater, as well as to experience the world in ways some could only dream of. I study hard, allowing for me to have the possibility of an early graduation. I dream big, allowing me with the imagination to draw up plans for myself and my future. I work hard, allowing me the strength and vision to execute my plans for the future. The way that I was raised has greatly benefited me. My parents have taught me that anything and everything is possible as long as you work hard for it despite the what others may tell you or even if the odds are against you. Another factor that led to my current life, is the amount of time I allow myself to think about my plans and refine them. This is extremely important because, without a solid, flexible, long–term plan, you could get lost in dreaming about the future, and end up not accomplishing anything. Hence, many aspects of my life have been planned out with not one or two possible alternatives Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. What Do We Expect Our Future? Essay What do we expect our future to hold? What are we going to become? These are the human questions being answered by the various fields of anthropology. The only way we can determine our future is to look at the past and see how we came to be, and how quickly. Our ability to innovate and create is common knowledge, but the speed at which we can develop technologies in unfathomable. As Americans our influencedculture dates back to the Greeks, so to learn about ourselves we must learn from what we came from. The goal of looking into the past is not just to learn about humans, but to learn how we can achieve more knowledge by preserving the past. Archeological sites need to be protected and how we do that has been influenced in Thessaly, Greece. The preservation of all archaeological sites allows us knowledge yes, but it is the ability to compare sites to see which cultures influenced the development of other cultures is the new way to learn about ourselves. The area on to start with is Halos. This area is in South–East part of Thessaly, and like other parts of the region has been a great source to learn about ancient Greece. "The first tumulus (Tumulus E) was excavated in 1899 by the local archaeological society 'Othrys'" (Georganis, 291). Another site was discovered in the region by Wace and Thompson in 1912. According to Vouzaxakis: "The Neolithic period in Thessaly (Greece) was first studied at the beginning of the 20th century by Tsountas (1908). Since Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Future Plans For The Future Imagine the perfect life, the perfect family, dream house, dream car, and the perfect career. That's what I hope someday my life will be like. Everyone has a future plan, to make the best out of our life, what is your plan? My future plan is to be a pediatrician. I would like to help the children of the future. They are the next generation and I would like to leave a legacy for them to follow. I want to help save and make a child happy someday. The thought of making a difference in someone's life is the reason I can go to sleep peacefully. We all have a purpose for being here and I my purpose is to save one of us, my purpose is to help the ones in need, the ones in the street begging for somewhere to live, the ones dying of poverty. However, right now in the 21st century technology has taken over the world, not figuratively but literally. It made the world, both a bad and good place. People are going to run out of jobs and tech will run the world. Technology will be the greatest invention of human kind but how will it affect some of us? First to begin with, Technology is part of our everyday lives. Every nook, every corner we turn there is someone with technology. In doing research it says technology is advancing so fast that it will be a thousand times more advanced in the next 10 years. From having no technology in the 1900s we are currently flourishing with technology every day, in our house there is at least 10 different items that are connected to the internet. Reflecting on My Past, Present, and Future Diana Koch Jones PSY 202 Laura Prout November 12, 2012 Outline Reflecting on My Past, Present, and Future Thesis Statement: Our past creates the foundation that brings us to our present. Throughout life we are faced with choices. Those choices determine what road we travel. The past cannot be changed, only learned from. What we choose to do with those lessons will determine how we live our present and by our choices within our present we can go anywhere we want to with our future. The choice is ours to make. I started out in a sales position with the goal of owning my own business and within a few years I was the owner of a lucrative cleaning company which afforded me the flexible schedule I desired and the income I needed to maintain the lifestyle I wanted. I never forgot what the most important things in life were even through my success. It's not what we become on the outside for those are things that are fleeting; it is what we are within ourselves that lasts a lifetime. I say that because things and people can be taken from us. The strength within will keep us going even when our world is falling apart. I married in June of 1984 and had my first son January of 1987. Life was good and it seemed like nothing could ever make that feeling disappear. I was grateful for my family and enjoyed the life we had. But just as I stated earlier that which is on the outside is fleeting, I experienced that first hand when I suffered through the death of my husband. I found myself alone, feeling abandoned and responsible for the life of my young son and not knowing what to do. I wish that on no one. I am grateful for the family I have for they were my strength when I had none left and they were my encouragement when I thought I had nothing left to give. I spoke of choices earlier and I faced a huge choice at that time in my life. I could have given up, embraced the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay on The Children Are Our Future Marie hoover Prof. orgier ENG ‎4/‎23/‎2012 The Children Are Our Future What the world needs now is for the parents of today's children to step up and teach their children to be respectful, caring, and compassionate children, which will one day turn into adults. One of the problems is the laws on child abuse and the way children are raised today, compared the way children are raised today to thirty years ago or even before that, is not the same. Kids today have little or no respect for their elders, teachers, or even law enforcement. I would have never talked to any adult the way some of these children today talk to the adults in their life's. These are the same children that are our future. Part...show more content... This is causing the children of today our future of tomorrow to run rapid, so as our children are becoming young adults, they need to learn to be respectful and courteous to the adults and the world around them. Which is a hard thing for parents to install in their children these days, due to once they go off to school they are faced with many hard decisions in which they need to make without the help or guidance of their parents. Yes when we were their age we had to face the same, but it was different back then children just knew if they did wrong their parents would find out and they'd be grounded or get the belt. While children now days know that the worst thing that can happen to them is they might get grounded. In the research I have found most people including most children agree that spanking is ok if it is used as discipline and not just because you enjoy hitting your children. Some children even believe that children who don't get spanked have less respect for their parents and other adults in the long wrong. Many generations used corporal punishment as discipline tool, not as abuse and the majority of those people grew up as happy productive adults. Some even believe that yelling or not punishing children cause more damage and we all know that grounding children don't work due to they always have some reason to be out of the house either school or after school Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. My Future Essay Every since I was a young girl I have been always asked by, what do you wanna be when you grow up? I know some people that change their minds every week of what their future hold for them and how they are gonna live through it. The future is changing every second of our lives, everything single thing that we do affects what our future hold for us. All my life I have been determined on one thing in my life. I have always wanted to become a doctor no matter what. I know that there is nothing that is gonna change my mind about that. Technology has helped many people with what they do at their job, however it has also harmed their jobs also. All my life I have been in and out of hospitals. Every since I was born I had some problems that I had to face. Thanks to all the doctors that were there for me, that helped me become the girl that stands today, I get to live my life in peace. I had told myself from that day forward that I was gonna become a doctor or a nurse and help as many people as I can. I have always loved to help people in need. I hope that one day that I can save someone's life as someone saved mine.If I had to pick one role model that I looked up to ,I couldn't. That is because I admire and idolize every single nurse and doctor there is in this world that help keep people alive and safe every single day. I want to do many things in my future. • 8. Children Of The World Are Our Future Essay Brooke Graham The children of the world are our future. Children make up about 26% of the worlds population ("Population ages of 0–14," n.d.). The children may not make up an over powering section of our population, but they are the individuals that are going to be creating the future of this world. Plenty of laws are in place to protect human rights, including those of children. Just because laws are in place does not mean that they are followed, and those that violate them pay the price. Those that pay the price of human right violations are the victims themselves, especially the future of this world, children. Globalization of human rights, and the violence and inequalities that children face; as well as crimes committed by the powerful, and the lack of global justice for these children are themes of struggles that children whose human rights are violated face. Human Rights and the globalization of these rights should extend to every individual in the world as they are stated in many documents, but many individuals still suffer, especially children. Article two of the Declaration of Human Rights states that "Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status"(Universal Declaration of Human Rights). • 9. My Future Essay: My Vision Of The World Life sometimes seems scary. The fear of failure and the fear of the unknown make a person rethink its choices and goals, this happens all the time. As time passes, be days, moths, years or only simply one experience can change our whole vision of the world, about life, about what really matters and consequently about our goals. Throughout my whole life I have questioned so many aspects of my life, of existence, and consequently about my future. I never stopped wanting to achieve something big, that could change the whole world, some amazing adventure that would be the one thing that would give birth to all the amazing things that could happen next. As time passed I realized that life itself is one big adventure, and that what I will do every day will matter for me and for the people around me. I realized that life is not some perfect movie where there are good guys, bad guys and that in the end of one amazing journey everything would be solved. It may be a childish vision of the world, but it had motivated me for years to do the thing I believed would help me achieve this, and to believe in myself. Obviously as I grew up, I saw what the world really looked like, that sacrifices have to be made, that there are things which no one can control, that if I want something I have to work really hard. • 10. Children Are The Future Of The World Essay Children are the future of the world. They are going to be the leaders of tomorrow and are going to make choices that will directly affect our generation. Children are pliable, so it 's up to us to mold them well and send them in the right direction. However, who specifically is going to mold these children? At six to eight hours a day, five days a week, teachers are positioned to become one of the most influential people in a child's life. After their parents, children will first learn from their teachers. Jerusha Connor, an education professor at Villanova University, said "Ample qualitative research shows that a single teacher can shape the course of a young person's future, for better or worse,". ( citation) Teachers have a massive influence on children, which is why they are so important. Anyone who can read, write or solve an equation has a teacher to thank. So much of what we know about the world comes from our teachers who equipped us with knowledge, skills and wisdom. Almost everyone has been impacted or influenced by a teacher they 've had in their lifetime. Teachers are important due to their influential positions early in a child 's life and they obviously influence the curriculum the students are learning and how they learn it. They also influence children by creating strong relationships. Because they possess this great power to guide and mold, they can impact how much students will learn. • 11. How Will Our Future Be? Essay How Will Our Future Be? The way the future is heading seems to be very clear but as before things may change. The time to come will never reveal itself until it has actually been. From this point of view I will try to describe the way I see the future coming our way. One of the major aspects when discussing the future is how will the law be handled and how power will be dealt with. Will we be able to decide for us self what we want to do with our lives and will the right of every individual be respected, as written in the constitution. There is no way I could be forced to believe otherwise. Our society today is made to decide if every citizen in Denmark should have some sort of card that you used for multiple things. And finally, the question that has been haunting me for the past 2 years, what major do I choose that'll determine the rest of my future? Throughout high school, several choices came across my mind. In the beginning of my high school years, I considered being a teacher, but that quickly changed because I realize that I don't want to be in this hell hole that is a school for the rest of my life. The following years a couple of other careers popped up in my head, artist, filmmaker, writer, teacher again, and nursing. Finally, senior year came and I was chosen to take an amazing opportunity to work at a news station because for the past three years I had taken a Film and TV class. When I was present with the opportunity to intern at the news station, I wasn't even sure if I want to do it because it just seemed really boring and uninteresting to me. My close friend Jill encourage me to take the opportunity because she was also chosen for the chance to intern there as well. Seeing that I wouldn't be alone in this endeavor, I took the leap at the chance and plus I had found out that this would also be a paid internship. • 14. How Does History Changed Our Future? If you ask a random student in an average American school to tell you their least favorite subject in school, you are probably going to get a lot of "history". I say that this is because students just are not interested in History today, they have the mindset "they're all dead anyway". I say that this is problem can easily be solved by just, simply, having history teachers update their techniques of teaching this fascinating subject in favor of more interactive ones, like plays acting out famous battles such as the Battle of Gettysburg. In seeing history come alive, students will more likely see the impact that history has on our future. Teaching itself goes back all the way to between 3000 and 500 B.C.E. in Ancient Egypt. He shaped educational values, as well as in the overall focus of formal education. His focus on personal values help teachers determine exactly what to teach and how History of Teaching... Cont:. teaching was achieved in a formal educational setting. However, all of this shifted with the Greeks. The first teacher in history was Confucius (561 B.C.). He was born into an honorable family, that had fallen on bad times, and because of this, he had no chance of being educated himself, sadly. However, he got a job and this eventually got a job which gained a reputation for his determination and thirst for knowledge. When he became a teacher, he took any student who were eager to learn. He taught regular subjects along with his personal wisdom for developing responsibility and moral character through discipline and regular subjects. This could have lead to the creation of his teaching as a philosophy, which is called Confucianism. In colonial America, the majority of teachers were men. In the 1830s, Common School started. This is considered the precursor for today's public school. This method was proposed by education reformer Horace Mann. Instead of being funded by the church, schools using this method were funded by taxes. They instilled a common and social philosophy of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. By definition, education is "the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or a university; an enlightening experience". A philosophy of education is a set of beliefs about how children develop and learn and what they should and how they should be taught. In my own personal opinion, the above definition is exactly what education should be – an enlightening experience. In our culture today, there is a huge emphasis on education. Education is the foundation for much of our future, therefore if one teaches for an enlightening experience rather than the act of simply teaching, students will be more eager to learn. Throughout my schooling and education experience thus far in my life, I have been fortunate...show more content... Firstly, the teacher can be seen as the guider within the classroom. The teacher is to work as the guiding hand, almost using their skills and knowledge to push their students towards motivation and betterment of their academic lives. The guidance of a teacher allows the educator to be readily available whenever a student may need them. A teacher should also act almost as a cheerleader to her students. Personally, in my future classroom, I want to be the one who is motivating a child to learn. I want to be their biggest fan. Without the support of a teacher, the students may feel that they can slack off or take advantage of the way I may be teaching. I want to let each student know each and every one of them could be the smartest kid in the class. For this reason, I will try and stray away from the common practice found in classrooms today, otherwise known as grouping. Our textbook defines grouping as "the act of grouping students together according to their similarities" (Oakes, 303). The book describes grouping as an ineffective and inefficient way to separate students. As a result of this, I find that grouping can lead to discrimination in the classroom, something I hope never happens within my own personal classroom. Each student, as their personal cheerleader, will know that no matter who they are, they too can achieve Get more content on HelpWriting.net

My degree is in Human Resource Management because of my excellent social and conventional skills. To achieve this goal would mean a great deal to me considering the adversity I 've had to overcome to get here. In 2007, I dropped out of college due to personal reasons and was not able to return until recently. I 'm so proud just to have gotten to this point alone. SMART Goal: By March 19, 2016, apply knowledge gained from classes following the course guidelines and process so that I can earn my bachelor 's degree to help improve my career in the future. Specific – apply knowledge (what), follow guidelines (how), earn degree (why) Measureable – the goal will be reached by passing classes up until March 19th, 2016 Achievable – challenged by earning a degree and passing hard courses in the process Results–focused – forcing outcomes "improve my career" Time–bound – Setting a time frame, completing my degree on the anticipated graduation date of March 19th, 2016 Accountability In order to be successful, one must hold themselves accountable as each milestone is completed in the goals they have set. There is no doubt that obstacles will present themselves along the way whether it be in the form of personal matters (finances, relationship, etc.) or professional matters (lack of work, no opportunity for growth). The most important thing to do in order to remain accountable is to never give up regardless of the situation. A great example of this, I am currently Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Our Students Are Our Future Our students are our future. Our alumni will eventually run our nation and they are what our world will come to depend on. It is our job to successfully teach them and equip them with the skills they need to live successful lives and teach their future generations. Currently we are not completely fulfilling our responsibility. Many of us only see the problem in our teachers, but it 's not totally their fault. Our entire system is corrupt, from the standardized tests to the curriculum. The system simply does not work for all types of people. Many people believe teachers to be like day care workers with extra education: they watch our kids, keep them safe and out of trouble, and as a bonus: they teach them valuable things instead of putting them in front of a T.V. or game console. Imagine paying the average educator three dollars an hour per child for the amount of time they watch them in a school day. Assuming there are thirty children in a class, annually that would equal over one hundred thousand dollars. Due to the fact that furthering your education increases your value to an institution, we should pay the teachers that have earned master's degrees and/or have special ED training minimum wage. That would be eight dollars per child, so their annual wage would come to a little under three hundred thousand dollars. Reality isn't so bequeathing and our teachers are only earning an average of fifty thousand dollars per year. We get what we pay for, and we are not investing Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Our fathers founded this nation with the belief in freedom, liberty, justice, equality, and individual responsibility. These are just some of the values and principles that have withstood the test of time and continue to inspire people to this day. They have gotten us through many wars, civil struggles, and ecomonic tragedies and we risen out of the crisis stronger over and over. When nations fell into freefall and spun out of control we have been there to supply for their needs in both military, humanitarian, and economic ways. Our free enterprise system has proven to work countless times, and we have advanced our ways of caring for those in need. But even with these values in place, there are some that still try to thwart the foundation we were built on and place government ahead of the people. These actions started the same war that created this nation. We must not allow our elected superiors to believe that they can put our future at risk to accomplish their agendas. To the ones that have forgotten this, we will remind by telling them what we believe. At this present moment, in this country, I believe that we are in a state of freefall. We are allowing society and government to redifine every belief that we once stood for.
