Mac + Lee delivers results for Promethean and Business Partners

Timeline
July 2008        ML principal, Rhonda Lee, presents to Promethean Business Partners at
                 conference in Las Vegas. VP of Channels referred ML to Pro-Computing

August and       Pro-Computing: two campaigns: initial project and second project – 3
October 2008     territories - $1M in sales pending as a result of campaigns

November –       Promethean survey project-surveyed over 10K schools across the US-
January 2009     uncovered 300+ hot leads (systems with funds and plans to purchase) as
                 well as market intelligence regarding brand preferences, buying patterns,
                 future plans to purchase, etc.

March-April      Logical Choice Technologies: Rhonda consulted to develop telesales
2009             strategy, established inside sales team – from hiring criteria to training, to
                 implementation

June 2009        Engaged Learning Solutions: Summer Promo Calling Campaign to 200+
                 Broward county schools. Yielded 36 opportunities for ELS.


August & October 2008
Pro-Computing was the first of the Promethean Business Partners to contract with Mac +
Lee. After hearing Rhonda’s presentation at the Promethean/Business Partners Conference in
Las Vegas, Mike McKinstry, President, knew he needed Mac + Lee’s help:

“I appreciated the fact that, in a minimum amount of time, Rhonda and her team were up and
running. Once they had the information they needed from us they presented us with a plan of
attack and got to work! We had never undertaken this type of project before but I knew I could
rely on Mac + Lee’s expertise to run a successful campaign.”

Mac + Lee worked with the Pro-Computing team on a pilot project in August 2008 and a
second calling campaign in October 2008.

Pro-Computing’s field representatives are required to cover a large geographic area so Mac +
Lee worked quickly with the team to target specific areas and set up multiple meetings in each
area enabling the field reps to be efficient with their time and travel schedules.

As a result, Pro-Computing’s field reps are following up on roughly $1M in potential sales.

November 2008 – January 2009
Promethean’s Todd Trombley, Director of Channel Development & Special Projects
contacted Mac + Lee to gather market intelligence that would be the driver for future sales and
marketing campaigns.

Mac + Lee, working with Promethean’s outside consulting team, developed a questionnaire
and assigned a team of over 40 callers to contact more than 10,000 school districts across the
United States.

It became quite clear in the initial stages of calling that there was immediate benefit emerging
from the calling. The Mac + Lee team was uncovering a number of hot leads for Promethean
and their business partners. Mac + Lee then started working with Chris Post, North American
Region Manager of Customer Relations, to transfer the hot leads to her team for distribution to
the business partners.

Within a six month period Mac + Lee gathered data regarding brand preferences, buying
patterns and decision makers in over 10,000 school districts. In addition, they generated over
300 hot leads for Promethean and their business partners.

When Shelly DeJesus attended the Promethean Business Partners Conference and heard
Rhonda Lee, Principal of Mac + Lee, speak she was “sold.”

“At Logical Choice, we knew we wanted to set up an internal prospecting team to do
outbound calling – but we also knew we didn’t have a clue as to how to start! It was clear that
Mac + Lee had the knowledge and resources to help us do this successfully.” –Shelly

Mac + Lee consulted with Logical Choice to put together a plan for setting up an internal
calling team. They took Logical Choice through every step of the process. Mac + Lee set up
the hiring process, advised in writing the job description, trained the new callers and worked
with them to develop calling scripts.

In addition, Mac + Lee provided support for importing data into SalesForce (CRM) and set up
templates for the newly hired team.

June 2009
Engaged Learning Solutions, a Promethean Business Partner located in South
Florida, wanted to offer a Summer Promotion to 200+ schools in Broward County.
Robb Yasenka, Strategic Accounts Manager, knew he did not have the bandwidth to
contact every school in a timely manner. He contacted Mac + Lee to launch a targeted
calling campaign to increase exposure and gain awareness in the Broward County
School District.

Mac + Lee ramped up quickly to put together a process and a calling team for
Engaged Learning Solutions. Within a two week period 99% of the Broward County
Schools were contacted and received information regarding ELS’s Summer
Promotion.

As a result of this campaign Mac + Lee uncovered 36 schools interested in Engaged
Learning Solutions’ offer. This campaign was perfectly timed and well coordinated,
thereby generating additional business opportunities for both Engaged Learning
Solutions and Promethean.

  • 1. Mac + Lee delivers results for Promethean and Business Partners Timeline July 2008 ML principal, Rhonda Lee, presents to Promethean Business Partners at conference in Las Vegas. VP of Channels referred ML to Pro-Computing August and Pro-Computing: two campaigns: initial project and second project – 3 October 2008 territories - $1M in sales pending as a result of campaigns November – Promethean survey project-surveyed over 10K schools across the US- January 2009 uncovered 300+ hot leads (systems with funds and plans to purchase) as well as market intelligence regarding brand preferences, buying patterns, future plans to purchase, etc. March-April Logical Choice Technologies: Rhonda consulted to develop telesales 2009 strategy, established inside sales team – from hiring criteria to training, to implementation June 2009 Engaged Learning Solutions: Summer Promo Calling Campaign to 200+ Broward county schools. Yielded 36 opportunities for ELS. August & October 2008 Pro-Computing was the first of the Promethean Business Partners to contract with Mac + Lee. After hearing Rhonda’s presentation at the Promethean/Business Partners Conference in Las Vegas, Mike McKinstry, President, knew he needed Mac + Lee’s help: “I appreciated the fact that, in a minimum amount of time, Rhonda and her team were up and running. November 2008 – January 2009 Promethean’s Todd Trombley, Director of Channel Development & Special Projects contacted Mac + Lee to gather market intelligence that would be the driver for future sales and marketing campaigns. Mac + Lee, working with Promethean’s outside consulting team, developed a questionnaire and assigned a team of over 40 callers to contact more than 10,000 school districts across the United States. It became quite clear in the initial stages of calling that there was immediate benefit emerging from the calling. The Mac + Lee team was uncovering a number of hot leads for Promethean and their business partners. Mac + Lee then started working with Chris Post, North American Region Manager of Customer Relations, to transfer the hot leads to her team for distribution to the business partners. Within a six month period Mac + Lee gathered data regarding brand preferences, buying patterns and decision makers in over 10,000 school districts. In addition, they generated over 300 hot leads for Promethean and their business partners. “The Mac + Lee team was originally contracted to gather data to be used for long term planning.   • 3. June 2009 Engaged Learning Solutions, a Promethean Business Partner located in South Florida, wanted to offer a Summer Promotion to 200+ schools in Broward County. Robb Yasenka, Strategic Accounts Manager, knew he did not have the bandwidth to contact every school in a timely manner. He contacted Mac + Lee to launch a targeted calling campaign to increase exposure and gain awareness in the Broward County School District. Mac + Lee ramped up quickly to put together a process and a calling team for Engaged Learning Solutions. Within a two week period 99% of the Broward County Schools were contacted and received information regarding ELS’s Summer Promotion. “Mac + Lee covered the Broward County School District in a strategic and timely manner for us and could not have accomplished this without them. We are currently following up on the leads they generated and plan to close additional business as a result of their efforts.
