2. ANCILLARY TASK 1
My first ancillary task is a double page spread focused on
the documentary that would be shown in a listings magazine.
The listing magazine that I’ve chosen is TimeOut, I felt this
was the best magazine for my ancillary task because TimeOut
magazine reports on the cities various events in film, music
and artistic events meaning that it would also shows events
such as RichMix which would be somewhere I could advertise
my documentary.
4. ANCILLARY TASK 2
My second ancillary task was a newspaper advert. Newspaper
adverts are a widely popular way of advertising films, documentaries
and TV programs. As I said my documentary is likely to be shown on
E4 I used their logo in the same way they have done for their
previous newspaper adverts such as Skins. The advert would be
shown in listings magazines such as TimeOut and the RadioTimes as
well as local newspapers such as the Romford Recorder and the East
End Review.
