2. Definition: Point is the smallest
element of Art.
Points have different shapes.

3. Difference between point and
shape
• It is a point when it occupies a small
area on the surface where it is drawn.
• It is a shape on the other way round.

4. Point expressiveness
•When the points are grouped, they
produce visual sensation
of concentration.
•When the points are
separated, they produce
visual sensation of scattering.

5. Point creates a sense of three-
dimensional space
•Resizing the points and
varying their colours we can
create a visual sensation
of depth.
