Student Autobiography
" My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it." – Clarence B. Kelland.
From as long as I can remember I was his shadow. Everywhere he went I followed, lead by his
gentle hand guiding me along. Until he walked up into the sky and left me alone outside the gates.
2012 the world was supposed to end and fortunately that didn't happen; but mine came to a life
changing stop. My dad passed away on August 31, 2012.
During a vacation my dad got sick and with what I never found out. I'm still left wondering what
disease took him away. Left with bottled up angry and frustration not knowing the full truth. But all I
remember from that traumatic day is waking up early to watch cartoons and the clearly burned
imagine of my father at the bottom of the stairs after he fell.
I was only...show more content...
I lived in a shell castes by my own fears. I felt like an outsiders that didn't belong. Something inside
of me didn't want people to know much I was hurting. Not even my family, and at one point me and
my mothers relationship was stained. I didn't talk to her about anything and my strong personality
got me into many agreements, making me isolate myself even more.
The stress from high school applications, tests, and graduation made me realize the keeping things
bottled up wasn't good for me was the best thing I could discover. Even though I knew this was
true I didn't think it would work. I didn't want to take my own advice. But 8th grade really opened
my eyes and heart to the people who cared about me.
This was the last year I was going to spend with my best friend and this brought us closer. We were
each others dairies, telling everything leaving no secrets. We were always there for one another. I
was relieved to have someone that knows everything good and bad about me and still cared about
me. I was finally understanding my feelings and getting some

Literary Elements Of Autobiography
Memoirs are stories that skip around people's lives and detail events that occurred. They can be
used as a way to teach a lesson and tell a story. In my memoir I used literary elements to show
what lesson I learned. In my memoir about being quarterback for a game I used in medias res,
vivid verbs, sensory details, figurative language, and dialogue. I was able to apply these elements to
make my memoir more action packed and interesting story. I created an engaging memoir by using
specific writing strategies to convey how one should always be willing to try something new.
I created an engaging hook by using in medias res to show how the situation was created. I used in
medias res in the beginning of my memoir when I started it with "I ran...show more content...
I used literary elements to convey my lesson of always be willing to try something new. The most
effective literary element I used was figurative language because I was able to compare what
being like a quarterback was like and the feeling I got. An example of when I used figurative
language is when I was talking about my first few plays in practice and said "I ran back to the
huddle and called out the play, I was a monster controlling the game"(Page 1). I used this analogy
because being quarterback was like being the biggest person on the field and having control of the
game, being able to decide what happens and having a major impact on the final score of the game.
The literary elements I used helped to show the reader the deeper meaning of my memoir.
By using writing strategies like literary elements I was able to express how one should be willing
to try something new. I used strategies like figurative language, in medias res, dialogue, sensory
details and many more which helped express the deeper meaning

Example Of Autobiography Research Paper
I was born on February 27th 1998 in Cleveland Ohio. I was a premature baby and was only 5
pounds when i was delivered. I got my name from my great grandfather Dequan Anderson
Williams. I wasn't a jr because my dad already had my big brother and named him after him. The
first five years of my life went by pretty fast. I have many memories from my first five years. One
memory i remember was the first time i went to the zoo. I went with my daycare teacher and her
two sons. I was three years old and it was a very hot day. The first Animals i saw was these big old
elephants. I was so amazed by how tall and big they were. After we seen the elephants we saw two
big old turtles who was moving extremely slow. The turtles were making these weird noises that was

happy. That season i ended up scoring 17 touchdowns just from running the ball and we ended up
winning the championship game. I only remember getting sick one time during my whole
chithood. I was five and i woke up in the middle of the night and just started throwing up. After
visiting the doctor they said it was just the flu virus. I couldn't do anything for a couple of days
including eat real foods. I only could have soup or crackers and after only a few days i was feeling
better. When i was only two my parents had my little brother and when i turned 4 they had my
little sister. Even tho we all got along i was closer to my brother because we were closer in age and
we were like bestfriends. There are many many many stories my family tells about me that i wish
they didnВґt. One story is about how i used to

When I sit back and consider the significant events in my past, the important aspects of my current
life, and my future goals, the underlying theme is one of appreciating diversity, especially across
ethnic and socioeconomic class lines. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the product of
a Catholic father with roots in Italy and a Jewish mother of Russian and Austrian ancestry. In my
early years of education, the frustration with teachers mispronouncing my last name seemed as
though it might never end. I remember how my father would approach the administrators of my

–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– When
writing an autobiography, focus on FOUR major things: (1) who you are in life (how would you
describe your personality), (2) what life means to you, (3) what major life events or critical issues
have had an impact on your life, and (4) what your outlook on the future is. The first thing you do
when writing an autobiography is start off with a lot of facts about your life; for example, when
and where you were born, where you live (city and state), where you go to school and who you
live with. You have to give a lot of information so your reader can clearly understand what is going
on. Once you have written this introduction, you are ready to start your first paragraph of the
autobiography. Who you are in life? The best way to start an autobiography is to state your name.
When you are writing this paragraph, you usually explain the type of person you are; describe what
you think your personality is: use facts

Military Autobiography
Hello everybody how you doing. Today you will be hearing my story from when I was a little
kid. I found something amazing, from these stories you will probably be able to guess why I
joined the military after these adventures. So sit back relax and and just chill for a couple
moments while I set the stage. Keep in mind I was 10 in my own time. So there I was on maple
and chestnut street. I still had my big red coat on and my books tied together with a string. Talking
with my friends their names were William and James. They are very important later on in the story.
We were the kinda nerdy kids who liked games like Pac–man, Q*bert , and Galaga, and Snake.
When I was coming home from the last day of school I was so happy. During the summer...show

It's is a cold not so sunny day. I have no clue where I am so I just wander. When I looked down I
was in arctic military clothes. I find this old car and I wonder if I look good so I look in the side
mirror, and that's when I realized I looked rough. I had cuts all over my face. Who knows how
they got there but they somehow did. I looked at my uniform and saw the soviet symbol on my
chest. So then I'm thinking to myself, " Oh gosh what did I get myself into this time?" As I was
walking and thinking to myself I found a building so I went up to the front door and knocked.
Nobody answered so I just left. As I was walking and pondering I ran into this guy. I asked him
where I was and he said "why Moscow of course." I asked him why there were holes in the ground
and he said the battle of Moscow. Them holes there were mortar holes. Later on I found the time
machine. I took it back to my own time. Later on in life I found the time machine again so I went
back in it wondering where it would take me next. Next thing I know I'm in a heli flying over
Iraq. I realized I was with 5 other guys and on their uniforms it said U.S. Navy Seal. Next thing I
know the helicopter that was next to us radios on and says there's a stinger team. A stinger is a

How To Write An Example Of Autobiography
I am Christin Mary DewBerry, born May 30, 1998. I am the youngest of four children born to
Janetta and Reginald DewBerry. My father is the Director of Child Care Services at a youth facility
and my mother a Detective Sergeant with the Detroit Police Department.
My parents believe in strong family connections and the need for community involvement. They put
much emphasis on their children having education, spirituality, and respect. I have had a very
engaging childhood that included frequent travel, camping experiences, and quality time with family
and friends.
In the summer of 2008 my mother was diagnosed with Stage Four Lung Cancer. Being ten years of
age, I did not truly grasp the seriousness of her illness; I only understood that

Memoir
Everyone has their own stories, no matter it is meaningful or not it is their life and their
memories. When I told to write a memoir about languages, I could not come up about any ideas.
So, I ask Professor for help, my Professor told us that everyone has their own stories and it is
interesting, because that is your experiences not ours. People like to hear stories, because it is not
their experiences and they want to know what have you been through. Here are little stories about
myself.
I was born and grow up in China, Tianjin, a big city where just an hour away from Beijing. Since
my mom wants to give me a better living environment, and better chance of education; so, we
decided to move to US. When I moved to the US in 2012, I was only sixteen years old and barely
spoke any English. Even I had learned English for all my school life in China, I still didn't
understand when other talking to me. The new life was totally different, it was tough and
challenging for me. The new language environment and culture differences were giving me a hard
time to fit into this country. When I first came to Chicago; Mother and I went through a great
amount of troubles trying to enroll me in a high school. Many schools turned me down because of
my lack of English skills. They wrote me a letter and send me to an ESL class at a community
college.
As soon as my mother settled me down in a small apartment, she left me to work in another state.
She needs to make money to support me and our family, so I have no choice to live alone by
myself. I was facing the challenge of fending for myself in a totally strange environment, where I
didn't know enough English to ask for help. When I was in China, I never had to cook, shop for
groceries, and walk to school. For the first time in my life, I had to do everything by myself. I had
so little money that I could not afford to eat at restaurants every day. Therefore, I had no choice but
to cook for myself. At first, my mother was the only person I can ask for advice. But when it came
to practice, it felt ten times harder than it sounds to me. I remember practicing cutting on potatoes.
My left fingers were often wrapped with Band–Aids. But I disregarded the pain and kept practicing it

Sexual Autobiography Essay
Sexual Autobiography Shaping my sexual behavior was generally influenced by my mom. I
learned to be dependent on men and use safe sex through media. Gender sex roles also placed me
to be secretive with my sex life and nurturing. My body image makes me insecure when it comes
to intimacy. There were no specific sexual guidelines that my family made me follow. I was
raised in a family where I was able to explore and have my own opinions about sexual situations.
Not having guidelines or a path made me lost and confused once I obtained sexual behaviors. My
experiences from friends, my mom, religion, and media influenced the development of my sexuality.

It made me think that the good guys were actually bad. I never was exposed to a healthy
relationship making it hard for me to be in one. My mom's relationship made a difference on how
I look at sex and sexual relationships. Since my mother didn't talk to me about sex, my primary
source of learning about sex and sexuality was from friends and boyfriends at the time. I never
took a sex education class and never discussed sex my sisters. So I took what my friends and
boyfriends said to be true. I then found out that most of the information learned about sex was
inaccurate through experience. Since I was told inaccurate information and had a lack of
knowledge, I got a sexually transmitted disease at the age of 16. Luckily, I got it cured before it
got worse. Through that experience I learned to always wear condoms to prevent other STDs. I
was once told that I couldn't get pregnant if I was on my menstrual cycle. I later found out that it
was false from the internet. My secondary source was the internet. I would Google everything,
since I didn't know who to talk to. That was again another inaccurate source because there is plenty
of false information on the internet. I began to look for answers to my sexual questions at the age
of seven or eight. My childhood sexual behavior started and my sexual curiosities were high. I
would enact in heterosexual marriage scripts with my younger sister

gradually changed. I grew and learned more about my life, seeing the world in a whole new
perspective. My mother taught me everything that I know of. My hands felt every object,
communicated with other people and observed every motion, and in this way I learned to know
many things. A shake of the head meant "No" and a nod "Yes", a pull meant "Come" and a push
"Go". I also learned new words such as bread, ice cream and book. My mother, moreover,
succeeded in making me understand a great deal. I always knew when she wished me to bring her

early years are fixed in my memory, isolated, but clear and distinct, making the sense of that silent,
aimless daily life more intense. One day, I was staying at my grandmother's house. We were eating

Autobiography Of My Family
I was born and raised into a hardworking family that are the complete opposite of culture
alienators. My siblings and I are all first generation in America on my mom's side and second
generation on my dad's side. Life was very hard for my parents to raise all seven of us and
depended on my grandparents for most of their help. Being that my grandparents brought all nine
of their kids to America from Belize it was also very hard for them so survive and find stability.
Most families that come to America from a third world country usually find it very difficult to
keep up family traditions and sometimes lose all contact. My family found a way to stay very

This left my mom with seven kids to raise by herself. Meaning one on one time was rare, because
my mom is not a superhero and could not be in multiple places at one time. Grief left my family
and I in a place where we did not know what to do, but we eventually got out of it, and continued
on with our life. We always remembered the hard working parents we had, and the hard working
mother we still had. I am resilient and got back on my feet and continued to attend school,
graduated elementary school, and will soon graduate from high school. Although, I have gone
through many difficulties it has made me work harder as an individual and choose my career
choice at an early age. Being that I was very into the heart at a young age, and my father passing
from a heart disease, I always knew I wanted to study cardiology, and will someday soon become a
cardiologist. Being that my mother has attended medical school several times, I first handedly
have seen how difficult it can be. I have been told by many people to pick a different profession
because of that; But because of how passionate I am about cardiology and the amount of times I
have experienced people deal with heart problems has assured me that I have chose the right

Autobiography in Psychology
Many times in people 's lives, they are asked to define their personality and they do not know how to
respond. What is the actual definition of personality and how can we define our own? Personality is
a unique consistent pattern of thinking, feeling, and acting. In other words, personality is a
combination of characteristics or qualities that form the person in you. Like a painting, there are
many different color schemes that combine in order to show the big picture. There is no such thing
as a person without a personality. Some people may not have very extroverted characteristics; this
means that they have a shy or colorless personality.
Now its time for me to define my personality. Who am I? What events in my life influenced the

As long as I was friends with them, I felt secure and sure that their guidance would lead me through
my journey on the road to success.
As I grew older, I noticed a change in the way I identified myself. At the age of 12, I hit puberty
and my hormones were raging. I now understood that the stalk didn 't really drop me off at my
doorstep. I was now introduced to the next bond in my life, the female. Females have had a major
impact on the way a man governs his life. At this time in my life I knew to be more adamant about
my hygiene and the way I present myself in public. This way, I might attract the same girls that
attracted my attention. I was fairly good at conversing with the opposite sex and this was some sort
of fulfillment in my life that greatly influenced the way I think and act, not only to impress others
but also to feel good about myself.
After I hit puberty, I realized a new Joey. A more a mature Joey, who started caring for the
feelings of others rather than just myself. It was a good time for this to happen since my Bar
Mitzvah was right around the corner. It was soon time for me to be recognized as a man. It was
also a time where I found myself connected to God. This spiritual feeling gave me a stronger
guidance which I did not yet realize until I was a little older. Religion is a big factor that helped me
and will continue to help me get to the right places the in right way. My parents had taught me about

Born in California and raised in the deep south, I grew up in two conflicting societies. The cultural

lonely piece in the puzzle box that didn't fit anywhere, an estranged visitor who misplaced herself
into their little bubble of friends. I hardly received any invitations to affairs, such as American
Girl Doll parties and pool parties, as result of the monetary gap of what I could afford and the
moral differences between my family and that of my peers. My mom pushed me to ask if I could

How To Write Your Autobiography
From what I am able to remember in my earlier childhood memories, my mother had sat me down
and was teaching me the very basics of writing. We started with the simplest form, which was
writing my name, it took some time to get the used to. After that, she assigned me more writing in
the afternoons. She would ask me to write how my day had gone; she would then check it
thoroughly for misspelling. Mostly those experiences were very unsatisfying because she would
discipline me after I had the same misspelling countless times. Mostly it was like going to school
twice a day. From the time, I would get up early for school, and then come home. I had to expect at
least another 2 hours in my home. As time flew by and I got older, my mother focused

Rough Draft Autobiography
I find it slightly unfitting to write an autobiography at the young age of 18. Personally, I feel as if
my perspective is not the same as many people my age. This is the word of someone who was born
in the wrong generation; the story of someone who feels so different from other young adults.
Someone born years too late, with still so much to learn can be conflicting.
In the beginning of the day, the tug of war in my mind has started. I feel like I should always know
what to do with myself and others, but at the end of the day I'm 18. It can be troubling and scary
to be so beyond my years. I constantly find myself giving people, many times to whom is older
than me, life advice. I find more pressure put on me by my family, my boss and myself. This
pressure all started when I had to grow up quickly and, for a few years raised myself. When things
in my life starting to get eventful was in third grade when my mom got remarried. This marriage

teenagers and young adults care so much about the wrong things? This life is not about possessions
or money. Yes, those things can make your life a bit more simple, but why would someone want
simple. The human experience is not about pleasing others, but more about making yourself happy

Autobiography Of A Teacher
As children, we absorb information and learn from experiences that mold us into who we are.
Many individuals impact a child's life, but the most powerful and influential role lies in a
devoted teacher, a teacher provides growth to students as a gardener would to a garden of flowers.
Each child can bloom into a thriving flower so long as you water their garden with optimism, love,
patience, and guidance. Throughout my educational experiences I was lucky enough to have
educators who poured their knowledge and optimism into me, and now I would like to reciprocate
that back to students who are in the position I was once in. Balancing life and school is hard
enough for a student, but a powerful and caring teacher can steer you in the right direction. In this
autobiography you will read about my educational background, experiences that influenced my
decision to become a teacher, and what I believe the role of a teacher should be in a student's life. As
a student I went to multiple schools, I went to three different elementary schools, two middle
schools, and two high schools in Brownsville, and through it all I had great experiences. Brownsville
is a humble community with low socioeconomic status, but rich in culture, history, and unity. In
retrospect, the socioeconomic status was changing as I attended different schools, depending on the
area of the school, of course. I was able to see peers of mine with different statuses than the person

career paths can be directed by our backgrounds such as family and culture. The career path I chose

career path, I have chosen is to work with women survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I
will discuss how self–assessments helped me gain an understanding, which careers might be worth
pursuing because of my interests.
I have always been encouraged by my family to volunteer to gain an understanding that experience
is valuable, even if the work is unpaid. While volunteering, it allowed me to see if I could handle
dealing with trauma victims in hospital settings. I chose the major of psychology because I always
wanted to become a therapist and help those in difficult life situations. I knew that my family
wanted me to feel rewarded and satisfied with the career I choose and to not focus mainly on
salary. My family always thought it was important to get a college education and a good career.
They did not attend school themselves and know the struggles of finding a job without the
qualifications and education. The cultural influences that impacted my decision was that my family
can understand my career path. My family looks at counselors as important people in society and as

with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Raised in the country, Reed had a passion for animals
and getting dirty. There wasn't anything that could stop this little tom– boy from jumping in a
puddle of mud, climbing trees, or capturing wild horses. This determined country girl learned at a
young age to be independent. Reed would go out to the pasture and capture a horse, bring it back to
the barn, saddle it, and take off...show more content...
The medical field had crossed this competitors mind a time or two, but was never anything serious.
An elective credit was needed to complete the semester, so this fragile freshman decided to sign up
for the athletic trainer course. Reed had no awareness of what was in store for the future. This
novice trainer stood on the side lines during every football season, hydrating the players, taking care
of sprained ankles, injured wrists, and finally a broken femur. It was then, junior year, that this
novice trainer became a future paramedic. High school ended in December 2002, when this early
graduate walked across the stage and the forthcoming journey began. High school was over, a
college in Lubbock, Texas was chosen, and this young adult was going to attend paramedic
school. At the end of the first semester, personal and family issues surfaced, and it was back to the
little small town of Willis. Still wanting to pursue the paramedic field, Reed realized that this
wasn't the right time to do so, and began seeking employment to help with family needs. This
hardworking driven individual worked two to three jobs at a time over the next nine years to help
support family. In all this time, the dream of becoming a paramedic was never lost. It wasn't until
June 2011 that the door to pursue this field was reopened. Reed decided it was time to follow

How To Write An Autobiography Essay Examples

  • 1. Student Autobiography Examples Student Autobiography " My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it." – Clarence B. Kelland. From as long as I can remember I was his shadow. Everywhere he went I followed, lead by his gentle hand guiding me along. Until he walked up into the sky and left me alone outside the gates. 2012 the world was supposed to end and fortunately that didn't happen; but mine came to a life changing stop. My dad passed away on August 31, 2012. During a vacation my dad got sick and with what I never found out. I'm still left wondering what disease took him away. Left with bottled up angry and frustration not knowing the full truth. But all I remember from that traumatic day is waking up early to watch cartoons and the clearly burned imagine of my father at the bottom of the stairs after he fell. I was only...show more content... I lived in a shell castes by my own fears. I felt like an outsiders that didn't belong. Something inside of me didn't want people to know much I was hurting. Not even my family, and at one point me and my mothers relationship was stained. I didn't talk to her about anything and my strong personality got me into many agreements, making me isolate myself even more. The stress from high school applications, tests, and graduation made me realize the keeping things bottled up wasn't good for me was the best thing I could discover. Even though I knew this was true I didn't think it would work. I didn't want to take my own advice. But 8th grade really opened my eyes and heart to the people who cared about me. This was the last year I was going to spend with my best friend and this brought us closer. We were each others dairies, telling everything leaving no secrets. We were always there for one another. I was relieved to have someone that knows everything good and bad about me and still cared about me. I was finally understanding my feelings and getting some Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Literary Elements Of Autobiography Memoirs are stories that skip around people's lives and detail events that occurred. They can be used as a way to teach a lesson and tell a story. In my memoir I used literary elements to show what lesson I learned. In my memoir about being quarterback for a game I used in medias res, vivid verbs, sensory details, figurative language, and dialogue. I was able to apply these elements to make my memoir more action packed and interesting story. I created an engaging memoir by using specific writing strategies to convey how one should always be willing to try something new. I created an engaging hook by using in medias res to show how the situation was created. I used in medias res in the beginning of my memoir when I started it with "I ran...show more content... I used literary elements to convey my lesson of always be willing to try something new. The most effective literary element I used was figurative language because I was able to compare what being like a quarterback was like and the feeling I got. An example of when I used figurative language is when I was talking about my first few plays in practice and said "I ran back to the huddle and called out the play, I was a monster controlling the game"(Page 1). I used this analogy because being quarterback was like being the biggest person on the field and having control of the game, being able to decide what happens and having a major impact on the final score of the game. The literary elements I used helped to show the reader the deeper meaning of my memoir. By using writing strategies like literary elements I was able to express how one should be willing to try something new. I used strategies like figurative language, in medias res, dialogue, sensory details and many more which helped express the deeper meaning Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Example Of Autobiography Research Paper I was born on February 27th 1998 in Cleveland Ohio. I was a premature baby and was only 5 pounds when i was delivered. I got my name from my great grandfather Dequan Anderson Williams. I wasn't a jr because my dad already had my big brother and named him after him. The first five years of my life went by pretty fast. I have many memories from my first five years. One memory i remember was the first time i went to the zoo. I went with my daycare teacher and her two sons. I was three years old and it was a very hot day. The first Animals i saw was these big old elephants. I was so amazed by how tall and big they were. After we seen the elephants we saw two big old turtles who was moving extremely slow. The turtles were making these weird noises that was loud and annoying. After seeing...show more content... My coach thought it would be a good idea for me to be running back and it was. I scored a touchdown on my third run and i was extremely happy. That season i ended up scoring 17 touchdowns just from running the ball and we ended up winning the championship game. I only remember getting sick one time during my whole chithood. I was five and i woke up in the middle of the night and just started throwing up. After visiting the doctor they said it was just the flu virus. I couldn't do anything for a couple of days including eat real foods. I only could have soup or crackers and after only a few days i was feeling better. When i was only two my parents had my little brother and when i turned 4 they had my little sister. Even tho we all got along i was closer to my brother because we were closer in age and we were like bestfriends. There are many many many stories my family tells about me that i wish they didnВґt. One story is about how i used to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Sample Autobiography When I sit back and consider the significant events in my past, the important aspects of my current life, and my future goals, the underlying theme is one of appreciating diversity, especially across ethnic and socioeconomic class lines. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the product of a Catholic father with roots in Italy and a Jewish mother of Russian and Austrian ancestry. In my early years of education, the frustration with teachers mispronouncing my last name seemed as though it might never end. I remember how my father would approach the administrators of my elementary school before Honor Roll ceremonies to be sure they would pronounce it correctly as I walked across the stage for my moment of glory. The most important thing is to BEGIN. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– When writing an autobiography, focus on FOUR major things: (1) who you are in life (how would you describe your personality), (2) what life means to you, (3) what major life events or critical issues have had an impact on your life, and (4) what your outlook on the future is. The first thing you do when writing an autobiography is start off with a lot of facts about your life; for example, when and where you were born, where you live (city and state), where you go to school and who you live with. You have to give a lot of information so your reader can clearly understand what is going on. Once you have written this introduction, you are ready to start your first paragraph of the autobiography. Who you are in life? The best way to start an autobiography is to state your name. When you are writing this paragraph, you usually explain the type of person you are; describe what you think your personality is: use facts Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Military Autobiography Hello everybody how you doing. Today you will be hearing my story from when I was a little kid. I found something amazing, from these stories you will probably be able to guess why I joined the military after these adventures. So sit back relax and and just chill for a couple moments while I set the stage. Keep in mind I was 10 in my own time. So there I was on maple and chestnut street. I still had my big red coat on and my books tied together with a string. Talking with my friends their names were William and James. They are very important later on in the story. We were the kinda nerdy kids who liked games like Pac–man, Q*bert , and Galaga, and Snake. When I was coming home from the last day of school I was so happy. During the summer...show more content... I find this old car and I wonder if I look good so I look in the side mirror, and that's when I realized I looked rough. I had cuts all over my face. Who knows how they got there but they somehow did. I looked at my uniform and saw the soviet symbol on my chest. So then I'm thinking to myself, " Oh gosh what did I get myself into this time?" As I was walking and thinking to myself I found a building so I went up to the front door and knocked. Nobody answered so I just left. As I was walking and pondering I ran into this guy. I asked him where I was and he said "why Moscow of course." I asked him why there were holes in the ground and he said the battle of Moscow. Them holes there were mortar holes. Later on I found the time machine. I took it back to my own time. Later on in life I found the time machine again so I went back in it wondering where it would take me next. Next thing I know I'm in a heli flying over Iraq. I realized I was with 5 other guys and on their uniforms it said U.S. Navy Seal. • 7. Example Of Autobiography About Myself Memoir Everyone has their own stories, no matter it is meaningful or not it is their life and their memories. When I told to write a memoir about languages, I could not come up about any ideas. So, I ask Professor for help, my Professor told us that everyone has their own stories and it is interesting, because that is your experiences not ours. People like to hear stories, because it is not their experiences and they want to know what have you been through. Here are little stories about myself. I was born and grow up in China, Tianjin, a big city where just an hour away from Beijing. Since my mom wants to give me a better living environment, and better chance of education; so, we decided to move to US. When I moved to the US in 2012, I was only sixteen years old and barely spoke any English. Even I had learned English for all my school life in China, I still didn't understand when other talking to me. The new life was totally different, it was tough and challenging for me. The new language environment and culture differences were giving me a hard time to fit into this country. When I first came to Chicago; Mother and I went through a great amount of troubles trying to enroll me in a high school. Many schools turned me down because of my lack of English skills. They wrote me a letter and send me to an ESL class at a community college. As soon as my mother settled me down in a small apartment, she left me to work in another state. She needs to make money to support me and our family, so I have no choice to live alone by myself. I was facing the challenge of fending for myself in a totally strange environment, where I didn't know enough English to ask for help. When I was in China, I never had to cook, shop for groceries, and walk to school. For the first time in my life, I had to do everything by myself. I had so little money that I could not afford to eat at restaurants every day. Therefore, I had no choice but to cook for myself. At first, my mother was the only person I can ask for advice. But when it came to practice, it felt ten times harder than it sounds to me. I remember practicing cutting on potatoes. My left fingers were often wrapped with Band–Aids. But I disregarded the pain and kept practicing it Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Gender sex roles also placed me to be secretive with my sex life and nurturing. My body image makes me insecure when it comes to intimacy. There were no specific sexual guidelines that my family made me follow. I was raised in a family where I was able to explore and have my own opinions about sexual situations. Not having guidelines or a path made me lost and confused once I obtained sexual behaviors. My experiences from friends, my mom, religion, and media influenced the development of my sexuality. I never was exposed to a healthy relationship making it hard for me to be in one. My mom's relationship made a difference on how I look at sex and sexual relationships. Since my mother didn't talk to me about sex, my primary source of learning about sex and sexuality was from friends and boyfriends at the time. I never took a sex education class and never discussed sex my sisters. So I took what my friends and boyfriends said to be true. I then found out that most of the information learned about sex was inaccurate through experience. Since I was told inaccurate information and had a lack of knowledge, I got a sexually transmitted disease at the age of 16. Luckily, I got it cured before it got worse. Through that experience I learned to always wear condoms to prevent other STDs. I was once told that I couldn't get pregnant if I was on my menstrual cycle. I later found out that it was false from the internet. My secondary source was the internet. I would Google everything, since I didn't know who to talk to. That was again another inaccurate source because there is plenty of false information on the internet. I began to look for answers to my sexual questions at the age of seven or eight. My childhood sexual behavior started and my sexual curiosities were high. I would enact in heterosexual marriage scripts with my younger sister Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Coax me to confess, to all I never meant... You're free of my burden But if you need me, I'll be here Always You say jump.... ...I say how high? You say leave.... I say goodbye. The Beginning It is with a kind of fear that I begin to write the story of my life. I have, as it were, a superstitious hesitation in lifting the veil that clings about my childhood like a golden mist. The task of writing an autobiography is a difficult one. During the first few years of my life, I had caught glimpses of people,a luminous sky, trees, flowers and my neighbourhood. If we have once seen, "the day is ours, and what the day has shown." The Start of my Journey to the Outside World During the years that I grew up, things gradually changed. I grew and learned more about my life, seeing the world in a whole new perspective. My mother taught me everything that I know of. My hands felt every object, communicated with other people and observed every motion, and in this way I learned to know many things. A shake of the head meant "No" and a nod "Yes", a pull meant "Come" and a push "Go". I also learned new words such as bread, ice cream and book. My mother, moreover, succeeded in making me understand a great deal. I always knew when she wished me to bring her something, and I would run upstairs or anywhere else she indicated. Many accidents of those early years are fixed in my memory, isolated, but clear and distinct, making the sense of that silent, aimless daily life more intense. One day, I was staying at my grandmother's house. We were eating lunch at that time, rice and chicken adobo with a glass of Coca Cola, whilst eating, I accidentally spilled my cup. To teach me a lesson, my grandmother didn't give any more servings of the soft drink. At that time, the Coca Cola bottles were still made of glass. My siblings and I are all first generation in America on my mom's side and second generation on my dad's side. Life was very hard for my parents to raise all seven of us and depended on my grandparents for most of their help. Being that my grandparents brought all nine of their kids to America from Belize it was also very hard for them so survive and find stability. Grief left my family and I in a place where we did not know what to do, but we eventually got out of it, and continued on with our life. We always remembered the hard working parents we had, and the hard working mother we still had. I am resilient and got back on my feet and continued to attend school, graduated elementary school, and will soon graduate from high school. Although, I have gone through many difficulties it has made me work harder as an individual and choose my career choice at an early age. Being that I was very into the heart at a young age, and my father passing from a heart disease, I always knew I wanted to study cardiology, and will someday soon become a cardiologist. Being that my mother has attended medical school several times, I first handedly have seen how difficult it can be. I have been told by many people to pick a different profession because of that; But because of how passionate I am about cardiology and the amount of times I have experienced people deal with heart problems has assured me that I have chose the right profession. I being a very conscientious person has has also assured me that I will be able to tackle medical school and become a cardiologist. What is the actual definition of personality and how can we define our own? Personality is a unique consistent pattern of thinking, feeling, and acting. In other words, personality is a combination of characteristics or qualities that form the person in you. Like a painting, there are many different color schemes that combine in order to show the big picture. There is no such thing as a person without a personality. Some people may not have very extroverted characteristics; this means that they have a shy or colorless personality. Now its time for me to define my personality. Who am I? What events in my life influenced the ...show more content... As long as I was friends with them, I felt secure and sure that their guidance would lead me through my journey on the road to success. As I grew older, I noticed a change in the way I identified myself. At the age of 12, I hit puberty and my hormones were raging. I now understood that the stalk didn 't really drop me off at my doorstep. I was now introduced to the next bond in my life, the female. Females have had a major impact on the way a man governs his life. At this time in my life I knew to be more adamant about my hygiene and the way I present myself in public. This way, I might attract the same girls that attracted my attention. I was fairly good at conversing with the opposite sex and this was some sort of fulfillment in my life that greatly influenced the way I think and act, not only to impress others but also to feel good about myself. After I hit puberty, I realized a new Joey. A more a mature Joey, who started caring for the feelings of others rather than just myself. It was a good time for this to happen since my Bar Mitzvah was right around the corner. It was soon time for me to be recognized as a man. It was also a time where I found myself connected to God. This spiritual feeling gave me a stronger guidance which I did not yet realize until I was a little older. Religion is a big factor that helped me and will continue to help me get to the right places the in right way. My parents had taught me about religion to instill Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Examples Of Literacy Autobiography Literacy Autobiography I communicate in many different ways, whether it be visually, orally or electronically. There are a few instances that stand out. First, through the oral and electronic means of communication. During the summers I coach a youth baseball team and I communicate with the players and their parents in many different ways. At practices where I talk and work them how to do specific drills. At games I cheer them on and give them tips to succeed. But, since most of the kids are only eleven or twelve years old I have to communicate to the parents. I usually do this through email where I tell them about upcoming games and practices. I also provide them my cell phone number so they always have a good way to reach me. Without the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Cultural Autobiography Examples Born in California and raised in the deep south, I grew up in two conflicting societies. The cultural geography of both areas differs on a magnitude of levels and complicated my development into the cultures around me, however in retrospect influenced me to be a multidimensional and considerate person. At a young age my parents introduced me to progressive values. During the developmental toddler stages, I immersed myself in two different cultures: what I experienced at school and what I experienced at home. Charleston, South Carolina embodies small–town society though the Greater Charleston Area expands rapidly each year, pulling migrants, including myfamily, to the growing city. The overwhelmingly conservative views of Traditional Charleston...show more content... Nevertheless, as we grew, my classmates and I no longer had the same attitude towards each other. These unaware toddlers, subliminally primed to perceive the world around them as their parents regard as fit, discerned the social ranking of each person in the room. I existed as the lonely piece in the puzzle box that didn't fit anywhere, an estranged visitor who misplaced herself into their little bubble of friends. I hardly received any invitations to affairs, such as American Girl Doll parties and pool parties, as result of the monetary gap of what I could afford and the moral differences between my family and that of my peers. My mom pushed me to ask if I could attend and suggested I bring one of my stuffed animals instead, which of course came off as an atrocious idea to me at age 7. I did not desire the connotation that bringing a regular stuffed animal to a party with girls who had hundred dollar dolls would cause. Sour and ungrateful feelings began to plague my head due to what I had, in comparison to those around me, did not constitute enough. I only became increasingly alien to those around me as we all grew together and the separating factors in our lives were no longer shallow material attributes as in what plantations a person's ancestors owned, how much money a person's family had, or where a person had lived all their life. I could only imagine how unfathomable nonreligious views appear to those who have been Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. How To Write Your Autobiography From what I am able to remember in my earlier childhood memories, my mother had sat me down and was teaching me the very basics of writing. We started with the simplest form, which was writing my name, it took some time to get the used to. After that, she assigned me more writing in the afternoons. She would ask me to write how my day had gone; she would then check it thoroughly for misspelling. Mostly those experiences were very unsatisfying because she would discipline me after I had the same misspelling countless times. Mostly it was like going to school twice a day. From the time, I would get up early for school, and then come home. I had to expect at least another 2 hours in my home. As time flew by and I got older, my mother focused Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Rough Draft Autobiography I find it slightly unfitting to write an autobiography at the young age of 18. Personally, I feel as if my perspective is not the same as many people my age. This is the word of someone who was born in the wrong generation; the story of someone who feels so different from other young adults. Someone born years too late, with still so much to learn can be conflicting. In the beginning of the day, the tug of war in my mind has started. I feel like I should always know what to do with myself and others, but at the end of the day I'm 18. It can be troubling and scary to be so beyond my years. I constantly find myself giving people, many times to whom is older than me, life advice. I find more pressure put on me by my family, my boss and myself. This pressure all started when I had to grow up quickly and, for a few years raised myself. When things in my life starting to get eventful was in third grade when my mom got remarried. This marriage didn't even have a honeymoon phase, and did not last long. Five years later, my mom and I were living from house to house out of one suitcase. She was deteriorating for the next few years. My first day of...show more content... I cannot comprehend how a " normal" 18 year old thinks on a daily basis. Its as if they are living their own lives to see what other people think about them. Why care if people have the newest shoes? Why care about the newest iPhone or what is trending on social media? Why do the teenagers and young adults care so much about the wrong things? This life is not about possessions or money. Yes, those things can make your life a bit more simple, but why would someone want simple. The human experience is not about pleasing others, but more about making yourself happy and healthy and spreading that joy from within. That all starts with love. It has taken me 6 years, roughly, to figure that out and apply it to my everyday life. And even now, some days it is not Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Autobiography Of A Teacher As children, we absorb information and learn from experiences that mold us into who we are. Many individuals impact a child's life, but the most powerful and influential role lies in a devoted teacher, a teacher provides growth to students as a gardener would to a garden of flowers. Each child can bloom into a thriving flower so long as you water their garden with optimism, love, patience, and guidance. Throughout my educational experiences I was lucky enough to have educators who poured their knowledge and optimism into me, and now I would like to reciprocate that back to students who are in the position I was once in. Balancing life and school is hard enough for a student, but a powerful and caring teacher can steer you in the right direction. In this autobiography you will read about my educational background, experiences that influenced my decision to become a teacher, and what I believe the role of a teacher should be in a student's life. As a student I went to multiple schools, I went to three different elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools in Brownsville, and through it all I had great experiences. Brownsville is a humble community with low socioeconomic status, but rich in culture, history, and unity. In retrospect, the socioeconomic status was changing as I attended different schools, depending on the area of the school, of course. I was able to see peers of mine with different statuses than the person next to them, some more affluent than Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Example Of Career Autobiography Career Autobiography Throughout life, people are influenced by others when it comes to career paths. For example, career paths can be directed by our backgrounds such as family and culture. The career path I chose has been influenced by family and those who support me and encourage me during school. The career path, I have chosen is to work with women survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I will discuss how self–assessments helped me gain an understanding, which careers might be worth pursuing because of my interests. I have always been encouraged by my family to volunteer to gain an understanding that experience is valuable, even if the work is unpaid. While volunteering, it allowed me to see if I could handle dealing with trauma victims in hospital settings. I chose the major of psychology because I always wanted to become a therapist and help those in difficult life situations. I knew that my family wanted me to feel rewarded and satisfied with the career I choose and to not focus mainly on salary. My family always thought it was important to get a college education and a good career. They did not attend school themselves and know the struggles of finding a job without the qualifications and education. The cultural influences that impacted my decision was that my family can understand my career path. My family looks at counselors as important people in society and as a career worth pursuing. Both of my parents are from Poland and did not attend school in the Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Named after an actress from a soap opera, this bundle of joy grew up as an only child, but shared a lot of time with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Raised in the country, Reed had a passion for animals and getting dirty. There wasn't anything that could stop this little tom– boy from jumping in a puddle of mud, climbing trees, or capturing wild horses. This determined country girl learned at a young age to be independent. Reed would go out to the pasture and capture a horse, bring it back to the barn, saddle it, and take off...show more content... An elective credit was needed to complete the semester, so this fragile freshman decided to sign up for the athletic trainer course. Reed had no awareness of what was in store for the future. This novice trainer stood on the side lines during every football season, hydrating the players, taking care of sprained ankles, injured wrists, and finally a broken femur. It was then, junior year, that this novice trainer became a future paramedic. High school ended in December 2002, when this early graduate walked across the stage and the forthcoming journey began. High school was over, a college in Lubbock, Texas was chosen, and this young adult was going to attend paramedic school. At the end of the first semester, personal and family issues surfaced, and it was back to the little small town of Willis. Still wanting to pursue the paramedic field, Reed realized that this wasn't the right time to do so, and began seeking employment to help with family needs. This hardworking driven individual worked two to three jobs at a time over the next nine years to help support family. In all this time, the dream of becoming a paramedic was never lost.
