2. Synopsis When Scarlet see’s a man’s body hanging from a tree, things change. The events that occurred that day come back to haunt her forever. She gets sudden flashbacks of what happened to the guy. She starts to loose it and kidnaps and tortures someone else. Police find evidence but cant link it to anyone.
3. Characters Scarlet – Upper class school girl with dark hair, average height, shy, pale faced. Dead guy – College student. Police man. Kidnapped human.
4. Filming Influences The Amityville Horror Poster- Its dark and suits our film genre with the picture and house that is being shown. Eden Lake- Due to terrifying thriller and the way the women turns into a killer at the end when she escapes.
5. Target Audience We want our film to catch an eye to certain audiences. We found from Shark Night 3D our target audience. As you can see most of our audience are male while they are also in the age group of 15-24.
6. Campaign This is a thriller/horror style film and we chose this genre because it is the beast genre to be creative in. The strategy we would hypothetically adopt to promote our film would include advertising on social networks to appeal to the masses online, viral marketing to include the audience and make them more intrigued into the film, premieres and advanced screening. This is to give the audience the chance to view the film before any others and then promote it amongst family and friends and cast and crew interviews to give the audience an insight into the making of the film etc.
