2. Base Layer
• Fractal noise Base layer is set up in your comp with a set
evolution at 15 rotations to lets say 15 seconds, set your fractal
type to basic and noise type to soft linear.
• Bump your contrast to somewhere around 1200 and your
brightness to -138. Remember to set overflow to soft clamp
also.
• Drop in a Vector Blur into the comp and use the lightness
property with 15 set as the amount and 15 as the map softness.
• Now, drop in a Bezier Warp and make sure that the BW mimics
the shape of half the side of an eye.
• Add a Tritone to the comp and give it a bold red, medium tone
red, and a dark tone red.
• Put in CC Radial Blur and move the “Center” to the left of the
eye shape or the left depending on which side you decided to do
firs. If you are doing it the same way as i am then put it to the
left of the eye enough to start seeing some change.
- Add amount in the effect to 14 and quality to 100.
• Now drop down a Radial Blur with the amount set at 4.0 and set
your type to zoom.
- Also make sure to put your center just left of the eye shape so
that it shows light ray like streak.
