Imogen Sanderson, heir to the Sanderson family, has graduated secondary school. At a family meeting, she announces her plans to attend La Fiesta Technical University in the capital city of Strangetown, rather than the expected Crescent College. Her great-uncle Levi explains that the family had been isolated in their hometown of Beauville and were unaware that the rest of civilization survived the apocalypse. Though puzzled, the family supports Imogen's choice to continue her education and start her own legacy at LFT University.
1. Imogen’s Daughters – Prologue
Do you remember Imogen Sanderson, the eighth generation
heiress to the apocalypse? Well, that is her, all grown up. And
this happens to be her story, Imogen’s Daughters. This will be a
matriarchy started by her so I can finish a legacy (quickly).
On with the story…
2. ***
The entire family gathered around in the living room on the night
following Imogen’s recent graduation from K. R. Sanderson
Secondary School in Beauville, New Arden (the North-most
province of Sim Nation). Gregory Sanderson was crying his eyes
out, yelling phrases about his “little great-niece is all grown up!”
Imogen tried to hush the entire room, “Guys, please sit down, you
can wait to pee later.”
Eli looked toward his wife and grinned, “Why are we having this
family meeting; we already know that Imogen is going off to
Crescent College like the rest of us.”
“That’s the thing, daddy.”
3. The adults and elders gasped in their seats.
“B-but, Immi,” Whitney choked on her words, “where else can you
go for your edumacation?”
“That’s ‘education’, Nana, and there’s a University South from
here that I applied to back in December.”
4. Whitney looked over to Levi and asked, “Is that true? I thought
that Beauville was the only city left in all of SimEarth. Or was
that why you used that mind-erasing thingy on those guys years
ago.”
Levi grimaced as his living siblings stared him down, “I believe
that it is time to tell you all that Imogen is right; there are other
cities on SimEarth; plenty of them, in fact.”
“But why?”
“Well, human family, the reason that everything is as it should be
stands from the fact that Beauville is separated from the rest of
the province by a mountain. We had no idea that the apocalypse
never happened in the first place because we were separated
from the rest of civilization. According to old records I managed
to find in the underworld, it was an earthquake that caused
Michelle to leave Crescent College.”
5. “Uncle Levi, now that you’ve explained everything to the family,
can I PLEASE tell them where I’ll be headed for University.”
“As you wish, dear.”
“All right, guys; I’ve been accepted to La Fiesta Technical
University!”
“Wait, where’s that?” Gregory asked abruptly, causing his sobs to
stop.
“It’s in New Arden’s capital city, Strangetown; it’s going to be
great there.”
6. Everyone except for Levi gave Imogen a puzzled look.
“Guys, please let me do this; I swear that I won’t party too
much.”
Whitney was the next to speak up, “But I made it possible for you
to party, so you’ve got to, kiddo!”
“Uh, thanks Nana.”
7. “Well, if Immi wants to go to this UFT place, then we should let
her,” Eli said.
“I thought she was going to LFT,” Whitney whined, “isn’t UFT in
the real world?”

8. And that’s how Imogen Sanderson wound up in LFT with her own
legacy. I’m ready to write chapter one and set up an heiress poll
for the matriarchy. Yes, only women can inherit. No marriage,
no worries about break-ups. All sims will have the same father
for each generation.
Also, this is the second step I’m taking with this family. First
was the apocalypse, now it’s the legacy and finally it will be an
alphabet legacy. Get ready for some fun there :D
