1. The International conference on “Emerging trends in
Engineering and Technology- Industry 4.0 (ETETI-
2023)” is scheduled to be hosted by Department of
Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and
Department of Computer Science Engineering &
Application, IGIT Sarang. It focuses on both theory
and practical applications in the broad areas of
Engineering. ETETI is a multidisciplinary conference
organized with the objective of bringing together
academicians, scientists, researchers from industry,
research scholars, and students working in all areas
of Engineering. This conference will create
awareness about the importance of basic research
in different fields matching with the current trends.
Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang
was established in the year of 1982 and was managed
directly by the Govt. of Odisha in the name of Odisha
College of Engineering (OCE). Prior to this, since 1981,
the institute in the name of Modern Polytechnic (MPT)
is offering five Diploma Courses. In the year 1987,
both OCE & MPT were merged and renamed as IGIT,
Sarang and Presently, the institute is offering nine
Under Graduate Engineering course, eleven nos. of
PG course. Also, IGIT Sarang recognised as a nodal
centre for AICTE Doctoral fellowship programme.
