1. SCRIPT FOR “THE CITY DREAM”
THE COUNTRYSIDE
A bright summer day two sisters are in the
middle of the countryside surrounded by
land and nature.
Emily is the shorter one of the two
sisters, Black hair and fair skin wearing
school uniform.
Pipi is a bit taller with brown hair also
faired skin wearing school uniform.
PIPI
(Sighing)
I love it out here wouldn’t swap it for
anything in the world, the blue sky the
birds singing…
EMILY
(Puts on a disagreeing face)
I know but like don’t you remember our
dream to go to the city and live the life.
PIPI
Oh yehh the people, the theatres…
EMILY & PIPI

The girls walk back home to get ready for
school and giggling at the same time.

dream

You use to work in the city, it must have
been great.
MUM
Yes I did one of the best times of my life
was there, I had my own little boutique
selling the cutest clothes ever and my
shopping pals and all the tall buildings
also going out every Saturday god those
were the days.
EMILY
I wish I could go there, I can imagine it
pipi me and you on a little adventure
around the city discovering things we
couldn’t even imagine.
MUM

(Opportunity finally arrives for them to go
to the city where they see big buildings

(Young people are laughing at them, pipi
starts to cry and they both start their
journey back home when a young man dressed
in jeans and a black vest top sees them
both upset)
